Pompey In Talks With Baros' AgentPremier League Portsmouth by ComeOnDavid (U9283667) 24 January 2008 Just been on sky sports news, Baros looks most likely to come here, no news as to whether it is on a permanent deal or a on a loan deal, hope we can do a deal so he can play on Saturday, too risky I think spending big on Baros therefore I would hope it would only be a loan deal until the end of the season, no news on Berger signing, I think that transfer would be likely if Baros was to join, anyone know what transfer fee it would be if Baros does join permanently, I would say between £4m-£6m, whether it's a loan or a permanent deal it does look like we are saving our big striker transfer deal until the summer. Bakerhurst (U8650352) posted Jan 28, 2008 I think baros isnt a natural goal scorer. im a liverpool fan, and ive seen him play week in wek out. hes quick but not as intelligent as most of the leagues strikers. he doesnt lift his head enough. therefore his awareness of other options around him is poor. pompey are wasting their time. they have plenty of quality up front without him.

on the HolgateRoof (U4433195) posted Jan 28, 2008 Harry's got a habit of getting good value out of his signings, Baros could prove a good signing, if he helps get Pompey Euro qualification then he's right back in the shop window and he's got the Euro's coming up as well
