A last minute equaliser from Elrio van Heerden cut out the opener from Man Utd to be striker Manucho.

Not such an exilhirating game but nonetheless brought 2 goals. The first being an incredibaly agile header from Manucho that brought Angola into the lead.

However late on the game spiced up and a very late goal was scored by S Africa which secured a vital point.

Yet again another superb, breathless African encounter with 2 teams who don't know when to settle for a point....thankfully!

These two looked very solid defensively and a winner would have been a tragedy, unlike the earlier game where Tunisia, like Egypt the day before, scored with virtually everything on target. Unlike Egypt Tunisia werew very much 2nd best from first to last whistle.

Hard to keep that up but fantastic entertainment.

I heard there was a cup semi tonight...
You'd think it was in Africa.

May the entertainment be as such tomorrow!

Got my first proper glimpse of Manchudo, he played alright and took his goal well. Would like to see him at United, he's 24 so not exactly young, but who knows whether he'll be a success or not.

May the African Nations Cup continue on in the same vein, end to end stuff, great goals and atmosphere. Sudan for the cup smiley !

Enjoyed seeing South Africa up their urgency towards the end of the game. I thought they were a little lacklustre going into the second half where they were second to just about every 50/50 ball.

The game came to life in the last 10 minutes. I thought SA just edged it in terms of chances and overall play but still a fair result for both teams. Group wide open now with all 4 teams on 1 point.
