I think most supporters need to take a step back and not be so judgmental to quickly. The reason why everyone is so quick to want the Americans out is because deep down being owned by the Americans has never felt right only because it was looked as were following the ManU way, and that is always going to be the last thing we want... To follow or copy ManU. So the Americans foolishly gave everyone a reason to shout and scream when talking to the German. But i am sure most of us have shouted and screamed and wondered in disbelief with Rafas rotation of the team, and even at the team itself not being able to get that killer 2nd goal. So far we all agree that this is not the season that we hoped for, but the blame for that should not be laid at the Americans door. Everyone should take some responsibility in this poor season so far, just as they would take the responsibility if the season was better. Never forget the club is bigger than anyone or thing and that includes Rafa, the Americans and the team. and never forget that you you support Liverpool Football Club no matter what.

So we are to blame for the Hysel tragedy? That is what you call "the result of 'Liverpool ways'? So where we've won trophies, titles, achieved our fifth European Cup success recently and another final in three years where some have never end reached there, much less won it, are not those examples of the 'Liverpool ways'?

And I mean this part "The 'Liverpool way' is to whinge and moan when things don't go their way", I suppose no other clubs complain rather than moan when they feel decisions have unfairly gone against them? How often do Liverpool moan? Benitez refers to the players mostly because he has already said referee decisions are unchangeable so there is little to no point in mentioning them afterwards.

You are just talking rubbish. Entirely.

I hope this will be a new start for the club.
Put all the troubles behind us and look forward. And Place Liverpool were we should be at the top.
Didn't Man U had a lot of problems when Glazer took over?
Maybe Hicks gave it some thought and will leave the football part to the manager and his staff and players.

So hopefully from now on we can work togther on this.

The 'Liverpool way' is an insular and old fashioned way where if you're not a Scouser, you're not a true Liverpool supporter. It is a way that excludes people from the game of football.

Must also add that it's on record that LFC warned UEFA of our concerns about the venue as did Juventus. Many corners of European Football were to blame that day.

The only thing Rafa has EVER said about the Real job is that he doesn't want it, and that he wants to stay at Liverpool, for crying out loud. Besides which, even Real wouldn't sack Schuster when they're sitting significantly clear at the top of the league, and through to the CL knockout stages.

So many people on here can't even be bothered to bend evidence...they simply make it up wholesale.

Hi ya'll! First, I ask your forgiveness that I am from Texas (not a "Yank") and and Arsenal supporter.

At any rate, I USED to be a fan of the Texas Rangers (baseball) and Dallas Stars (hockey). These are Tom Hicks' other sport teams. They are worse now than they were before he bought them.

The thing about Hicks is that he is a smart business man, but he doesn't know anything about sports. He doesn't understand American sports and I'm sure he might as well be on another planet when it comes to English Footie.

When I heard Hicks and co. were looking to buy Liverpool, it made my heart sink. I didn't like Glazer buying ManU either (and I hate ManU.... I've got nothing against you scousers, I like seeing you do well). I've pretty much turned my back on US Pro sports because the people who run them here are just awful. They don't give a lick about giving the loyal supporters a good product and a fair price. At least I had real football to fall back on. But the invasion of US Know-Nothings is threatening the whole deal. 2 of the big four owned by Yanks! ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!

Meanwhile, our useless idiot sports media over here reports on things like the Rafa-Hicks row and make it clear they don't understand the finer points of off-pitch drama. The idiots in this country make no attempt to understand the greatest game on Earth (one report had to explain to readers that "manager" means "coach" despite the fact America's "pastime" baseball uses the same concept... IDIOTS!) but they have no problem pointing out how it "fails" to live "up" to the crummy standard of American sports.

Sorry, it just gets me riled...

Love Rafa to bits and I'm not going to have a go at Hicks and Gillet either because they have risked a lot to get involved.
However is Rafa going to bring the league to us - I honestly don't believe we are any better off than when Roy Evans was let down by Mr Moores & Co. I don't think Roy was given the support and certainly not given the cash that Houlier and Benetez have spent.
Where is the improvement ?

i like liverpool fc since 1980 ,i was born in indonesia 1970 .now i see liverpool on tv is litle different ,more atractive with many countries played , but one never a change the crowd in anfield stadium its so wonderfull ,the fans its very great you l never walk alone . ihope liverpool will be a winner next EPL
