Another Man utd win, not as comfortable as their 6-0 thrashing of Newcastle last week, but 3 points is 3 points.

Rooney and Ronaldo both scoring, with Rooney reaching season double-figures and Ronaldo increasing his season goal tally to 23.

It was a deserved result from Man Utd even though they had to put up with stern resistance in the first half by Reading, which Cisse played fantasticly to keep his team in it.

But in the end the attcking power of Man utd beat the leakiest defence in the Premiership.

Not brilliant, but a win which keeps Man Utd on top.

If MOTD was biased they would have edited out Rooney saying it was the most difficult game, and they wouldn't have devoted about 5 minuets to showing just Reading chances in their analysis. I can't be bothered to trail back through all the comments to see if your right about Shearer and Hansen watching games was something i brought up, but whoever brought it up it's irrelevant to help prove MOTD bias in the Reading game highlights

Im a man u fan i thought we had a bad game yesterday. Reading played well and had good chances, probably as many as we did. Reading frustratd Utd - u only needed to look at Ronaldo! But Reading seemed to flag in the final quarter, and man u took advantage

Give credit where credit is due, Hansen and co gave no credit to Reading only Rooney did. He stated that it was there toughest game this season!!! That should tell you that Motd is biased 2wards top 4 teams!!!

SAF is a passionate Manager and was frustrated that United had missed so many shots at goal, Ronaldo, alone missing the target 7 times. This is why he gave the gesture, it was meant to say, "thank heavens, finally we have buried the game" Nothing malicious here!!!!

The Reading game wasn't the easiest. The manager's approach (according to his pre-match comments) was to stop Man Utd playing their game. He said if you let them play well they beat you. So don't let them play well. Yet in the end, though Man Utd didn't play the quintessential vintage football we're accustomed to, it was still a Red Devils win. It's a pesky little reality that Arsenal are right behind Man Utd and Chelsea aren't far behind. It's hard to predict where this crown will end up, but I do think that Man Utd will not relinquish it that easily. And now that they have their noses in front, it might just be hard to dislodge them again.
