Rovers fan in peace...

Think your lads played well today, and with a bit more luck would have taken all 3 points.

On the strength of that performance don't think your lads will have much trouble climbing the table. Especially if you do add a quality finisher to your squad.

While we only got a point, it's still a point more than Reading, Sunderland, Fulham, Derby or Birmingham got, and than most people think Bolton will get. Wigan also have a tough game tomorrow.

On balance by all accounts we should have won, but 2 points from Liverpool at home and Blackburn away is still decent. We're up to 13th and doing enough to avoid the drop, which is pretty much our target this year.

ALVES please!!!!

Its become increasingly embarrassing to look at our top goal scorers and to see our left winger top, CB 2nd and our main strikers no were near (well tuncey is recently doing ok, but 4 really isnt enough). But this angers me mostly, why is ali still playing? 1 goal is simply embarrassing.... sorry, but put anyone up front and they'd score more than 1 goal!! Drop him GS, and bring in mido ASAP

Alves - sorry am I missing something, are we not trying our damnest to sign him ?

And is Mido not still injured - or should we drop Ali and play LDG ?

Ali and Tuncay are both qualitiy but both are more creators instead of finishers.We need a finish and hopefully all will be well and we will get Alves. cant belive I am seeing Negative comments after today.Come on Boys a point at Blackburn with our recent history with them is a damm good result.

If we had a got a point in 97....whoops there I go again, I will start on KL again in a minute.

I am happy we are moaning about only getting a point away at Blackburn, shows we are moving in the right direction, lets not forget they are in Europe and challenging for it again

Us Boro fans don't really need to bother writing a new thought for after each PL match this season. Just use the following, then copy & paste it after each game:

"Played well, created lots of chances but somehow managed not to put them into the back of the net. Signing a top quality striker would see us finish a much higher percentage of these chances. That means games like this would be won instead of drawn/lost & we would be in the top half."

There you go, it's easy being a Boro fan

It's been mentioned time and again on the boards but i'll echo the point, we desperately need a goalscorer. A decent finisher could have had a hat-trick today and is what we require to push on.

Good performance today though and it's encouraging to see us at least creating chances.

this was a good game as middlesbrough were on top throughout and should of put their chances away
fulham will get c.ronaldo by end of january, with ronaldinho and kaka,
3 keepers, dida buffon and cech all for 3m each
we will win league this yeaR
