It is now official, Diarra has signed for portsmouth.

But is it me, or is Harry Redknapp trying to turn portsmouth into a second rate copy of arsenal?
For starters he always buys our rejects eg. Campbell and Kanu to name a few.
He also pinches one of Arsenal's legends to be his assistant manager - Tony Adams
Another thing is that he's taken to copying Arsene Wenger in signing a big quantity of African talent.

What will Harry do next? I know he used to support Arsenal as a boy but it's becoming like an obsession!

I believe that Arsenal should share the wealth with ex players, instead of letting Harry stockpile them all!!!

Who did we neat in the carling cup again? who did we beat in the FA CUP FOR THAT MATTER? DIARRA WON MORE WITH THE BLUES THAN WITH ARSENAL. Chelsea believe we can win trophies and live on the anticipation Arsenal and United believe its their divine right. Chelsea have a great team spirit and their position despite players injuries and losses proves it. This is true loyalty. Everyone has a part to play, Arsenal found out that Diarra didn't ubderstand this

i acknowledge that it's good that teams are buying players to play attacking fotball like arsenal/united.

But I was asking whether people found it annoying that Harry always signs players from us (and also the spuds), I mean they could go anywhere after leaving arsenal, but instead they go to Portsmouth.
Harry could scour the globe for exciting players for Pompey, but instead he seems to want to wait outside arsenal's exit door with a contract and pen.

Its like having someone with a big net picking up everything after you, until you throw away something important (eg Diarra) and then it hurts you because you've lost something valuable

Ultimately what I'm trying to say is that ex arsenal players should be spread out to increase the attack mindedness of lots of teams rather than just the one.

I'm a Gooner, and I've got to say that that is one of the strangest arguements I've heard.

Very weird logic there, lol!

Once we release players, who cares where they go?

Diarra should pray that Harry's team has many injuries in positions best for him. I wish him excellent health. There is life and success outside Emirates. And who knows, Diarra may find and use the formula for getting it.

This has to go down as quite possibly the most stupid comment made by anyone ever.

Suprising he didn't win too much with Arsenal as he failed to complete half a season with us you absolute tool.

I have to agree.portsmouth cant do what chelsea/man utd/liverpool do.which is spend millions on european players who are often overpriced.what we can do is find talent in africa.arsenal have proved it works.how many superstars have arsenal signed? they have brought african players in and turned them in to quality signings.so why wouldnt portsmouth want to try and do the same.

I've always thought the same.
But i dont know why you think this is a bad thing, its good to see a good club adopt Arsenals attractive style and unlike Arsenal they can boast that with reasnable ticket prices.....

Btw, Cesc Goal Machine shame on you, Campbell and Kanu were never rejects. Yes, they got too old but they were amazing players in thier prime and still are. Chelsea wanted Campbell only last season........
