Winning dirty wins leagues

Scottish Premier Rangers
comment on the article

Edgy nervy performance tonight. Defence looked poor but to be expected with lay off and a few changes. We took the points and in all honesty there was only ever going to be one team do that.

This is the kind of grinding out performance that wins leagues.

Four points and it's clear blue water.....we welcome the chase

Gers definately need a creative midfield player or bye bye league as with Thomson out last night it showed how poor we are without him and he could be out long term if needs an op. Hemdani's a good football player and will be ok at home, but when he has to roll the sleeves up he's non existent! As for Adam, he is fat and lazy and I find it amazing he gets a start before even the likes of Alan Gow who would definitely do a better job than him. Barry Ferguson was constantly having to bawl at Adam for all his mistakes! It's obvious he's only in for his dead balls because he is so slow it's emabarrasing! Also, Papac is useless, there must be a better option in the reserves than him! We will struggle to beat Caley if we play like we did last night! Finally, why did Naismith come off when he was at least putting in a shift and ok Cousin scored but what a lazy fud he is! WE NEED AT LEAST 3 PLAYERS before end of transfer window!

I agree that adam is slow but we still won but we do need a creative midfielder I would like to see kris boyd being given more of a chance also give buffel a go what is there to lose

We have quite a lot to lose in terms of the league, but we do know what Buffel is capable of. However, with Burke coming into the fold and having a great spell, where does Buffel fit into that? I think playing Naisy up the lefy is an option with Boyd upfront, and I'm clinging onto the hope that Cousin played the full 90 last night so that we can put a price tag on his head for some mugs in the premiership that want him! Then after that there's an option for Boyd to come back in. That said, Darchy has had more of a look in than Boyd, but you can't deny Boyd's scoring ability, and with whippets either side of him, he'd be my first choice.

As to Papac, he's starting to show cracks in his fill in role at left back, although up until now he's been an acceptable utility player. I can't wait to see Stevie Smith back, but we don't want to rush him. Webster on the way back as well, meaning Weir can retire at the end of the season, his positioning at times is suspect.

And as for brastrap hemdin Hemdani, he consistently slows up the play in attack, hence the reason he looks lost when he has to role up his sleeves, he's surplus to requirements in my opinion!
