Fair go Allythedog!
I saw McShane earlier in the season when he was at centre back and he nutted away any attacks that the opposition had. I'm sure he must have had a few headache pills at half time. I think he can be a very good centre back - don't forget he's still only young.

I cannot believe you are basing your judgement agains this Football Manager stats! Sure..it gets all of the wonderkid people pretty spot on, but do you see Sergio Aguero banging in 40+ goals a season yet??

Thought not..I believe he looks a decent signing, physically strong, pacey, good in the air...perfect CB material

It smells of desperation,
PSG are in a similar league position to Sunderland yet he could not get in their 1st team. Just because he's French doesn't make him good - Kaboul, le Tallac, Pongolle all stand out as very expensive blunders from the French under 21s.(I'm sure there r more)
France 'had' a golden generation and that time has long passed - How about Premiership teams actually do some scouting in the UK rather than taking the first Kid offered by an agent who happened to get a cap for the French u21's - Wow factor, i think not.

Jean is one for the future," boss Roy Keane told the club website.

Unfortunately, Sunderland need more than one and for NOW.

Wishful thinking. PSG are in 11th. Sunderland dream of being 11th!

he is completely headless gives away far too many freekicks from charging about too much, he is slow and he can't pass the ball. apart from that mcshane is a great player
