amir will never be prince nassim.....................................................................

You can't even spell his name correctly and that says it all. Amir Khan has more potential in his little fighter than the overrated bloated pig "Naz" ever had before Barrera completely outclassed him...

Should read "finger" instead of "fighter"...

"ITV, 10.40 p.m. Not sure on actual time of fight though, that's just when the program starts."
----------------------------------------------

The fight should start right away, as the undercard is on ITV4 beforehand. You'll also get highlights of the undercard at about 10:50pm after Khan's 2nd round TKO winkeye

And MUFC, I think Naz had more potential than Khan currently has, but he didn't stay dedicated. He didn't train for the Barrera fight and believed too much in his own hype and thought he was ahead of the rest. Barrera soon brought him down to earth though, and look at him now. He just needs a spectaculur downfall and it'll make for a good film ala Jake La Motta smiley

Did Hamed win an Olympic Silver at a particularly competitive Lightweight Division with guys like the Cuban Kindelan?

I appreciate that this is a step up in class for Amir, but when is he going to stop fighting pumped up featherweights? I'm starting to see parallels with his pro career and Audley Harrison's !!
----------------------

The Guy is vastly experienced and has fought many times at lightweight and even at light welter. Just because Hatton can't fight above light welter does not mean that there aren't plenty of boxers who don't see moving up a weight as a problem.

Also, can anyone tell me how good was Hamid's opponent (Robinson) in his WBO title fight? It's too long ago for me to remember. Was he a world class fighter and at the peak of his division like Diaz, or was he more of a Maussa?

Robinson was ok but Nasseem went into the fight as favorite. It is probably fair to say he was short of world class but a good fighter none the less... he wouldn't have lasted long against any of the mexicans of the time.

So it's fair to say that Khan has much the harder task considering that most the belts in the division are held by Diaz.

Credit and respect are only given when they are due. Yes, Naz fought at his peak to beat a ring legend in Wayne McCullough and a tough
opponent in Kevin Kelley, but why did he allow himself to be outclassed so embarassingly by Barrera? The aforementioned Pocket Rocket would have come a lot closer to upsetting the odds and defeating The Baby-Faced Assassin doh
