Jazza dont know what your talking about when you say Raffa dont add up I suppose thats why Beyern & Madrid wanted him and know doupt L'pool will get there wish at end of season.We all know L'pool will go back years if they get rid and the Americans may understand that as well.

I’m not a Liverpool fan but have always admired them for what they have contributed to the game, the great players, a team with heart, and the great managers who have guided them to some great and memorable awards.

The current situation is utterly deplorable. What we see here is two rich American witless wonders who have no clue about football, ice hockey, baseball and for that matter any sport they have thrown their wealth at.

They are all about money and their record of dealing with managers is far from impressive and shows that what we are seeing here is par for the course. American’s have never understood football and will always be blinded by what they can do with extra millions rather than building a dynasty and understanding the ups and downs that teams experience. If they don’t get results they buy more players and then blame the manager who they undermine at every point.

If Rafa goes it will be yet another sad moment for football and a great loss. The revolving door has to be stopped and fans and players should unite against it.

The Americans are big on integrity as lots of reporters put it.

Makes real sense now that Benitez was held back to available funds for the transfer period to secure the services of Mascherano and the likes of others that he has in mind. 'Cos the backstabbing Americans were up to no good having talks with JK and making for the new stadium. Benitez probably got to know more than he should have and then began to make public outbursts of a different kind so as not to be gagged by the Americans. They managed to buy LFC based on broken promises is the way i see it. The Americans may very soon sell their stake which will be no surprise at all. Watch this space...

The biggest problem for the Americans is the mass support that Benitez has got from the fans is causing the Americans to squirm and team morale is boosted.

The American owners have made a monumental cock up over releasing the information re there approach to Klinsman.Klinsman has got a job - the owners look stupid - Rafa in in the box seat now as long as he does not get into infantile press conferences again.

The Americans have to back him to get success or get out - my money is on the latter.

Get the new stadium sorted - get the revenues in and spend it on good players and then we will have a chance to get the title.

Rafa can get a job anywhere he wants and he is wanted for sure.BUt thank god he wants to carry on at Liverpool.

Thanks yanks more friendly fire!its clear what side the liverpool fans are on.the proper ones anyway.How can you argue he has won titles in la liga,spanish cups,uefa cups,fa cup,champions league, (should have been twice),carling cup final, community shield, the super cup, and last season we racked up more points in a prem season than we ever have done before, plus he attracts the biggest names from around europe and has good contacts. If any1 is going to get us the league it will be rafa.And every liverpool fan inside anfield last night feels the same way.

It's a joke, Liverpool players and management drooling all over themselves after beating a team 22nd in League 1 at the second attempt. Gerrard begging to be allowed to stay on to complete his hat trick, like some bully in a playground playing with kids half his size, the bar at Liverpool is oh so high.

I couldnt agree anymore Alan. Liverpool arent the sort of club who would do this, I hate the cloak and dagger game the Americans are playing.

They are spoiling LFC on and off the pitch.

sorry for random comment, but i just want to ask what all you scouse muppets are gooing to do when we inevitably surpass your 18 League Titles, i dream of that day and i really genuinely think it will happen in the next 5 years its so exciting to think of the look on your workshy faces :D Lets be honest you have a fat spanish waiter for a manager and i admit, i was scared at the start of the season with our poor start and torres looking on fire, but yet again liverpool are failing and it is so so sweet, "5 times mate 5 times laaa", gahh fair enough but soon will be the most successful english club domestically with more league titles and most FA cups, like i said i cant wait for the day, and all this 18-5 garbage will mean nothing but 18 years, 5 managers and 0 league titles

Just read a breaking news banner, saying Liverpool owners deny they want to sell the club!

There may well be no foundation to this, but there's always a nub truth to any rumour.

With all the circus going on with Hicks, Gillett, Benitez and now Klinsmann in the picture, how ridiculous is that, so it struck me, I really hope these American clowns can sell the club, to someone or some entity that has at least a semblance of interest in Liverpool FC's well being.
