the silva twins are apparently brazil's answer to the neville bros. so am very much looking forward to them coming!

also, fabio, who was captain of brazil in the under17 world cup, was also the leading goalscoreer in the competition, so that means more goals from defenders...

SAF always has an answer dont he // maybe thats why he isnt in a rush to find suitable cover in the rb/lb positions smiley

Manchester United's reputation for attracting more supporters from London than the North of England is unlikely to be helped by news that the club have now opened an office in the capital.

Telegraph TV: Football and Premier League highlights
Premier League Transfer Talk
Commercial director Richard Arnold is looking to move staff to London to co-ordinate a new global sponsorship programme designed to boost revenues beyond the record £245 million turnover announced last week.
One member of staff has already moved south from Old Trafford, with the prospect of more to follow.

United justify the move by saying that the amount of travelling needed to secure and maintain the new sponsorship arrangements makes it easier to base the team in London.

But fans still opposed to the club's ownership by the Florida-based Glazer family may question whether this is another sign that United are losing touch with their Manchester roots.

Football fans' forum
Meanwhile, some of United's Premier League rivals have been privately questioning the club's decision last week to include total revenue from shirt sales from their £300 million Nike merchandising deal. They say the figure gives a distorted view of United's financial performance.

If united could move to London, I'm sure the Glaziers would love it. After all it wouldn't upset that many Mancunians, besides you would be closer to your nearest top level rivals.

Why the hell would anyone want to discuss United players' relationships!?

News involving the players yes, their relationships!!?? No thanks, I just don't care who their dipping their wick into, I just wanna see them play well for our club!

===========================
Buddie:

We are MORE THAN CONCERNED about the RELATIONSHIPS of our players. Their relationships are tangential to their lifestyles and their lifestyles affect their performance, both and off the pitch, and their performance has to do with the football they play for us!

What do you think will happen if one of player's gf or wife is giving him emotional problems??? Don't you think that will have an impact on his psychology???? What will happen if the player eats bad food prepared by his wife/gf which then upsets his tommy and he then gets disturbed on the field???

C'mon, think about that, buddie.

Shawcross to Stoke- why? I think he's better than Johnny Evans. He had a future at United.
