Confident of an away win now the midfield seems to be fairly decent strenght after the injury scares etc.

Hope Dunny can actually last a game.

We were crap again against a poor Bolton side if I was the Newcastle Chairman I would be thinking if........ keep it up Mark and United will be after Keane.
New left winger, striker and midfielder required urgently.

Wise words, bburnrover.

We were appalling and you weren't much better.

Fair play though, you took your chances and we didn't.

Cannot blame Anelka for going to Chelski anybody else would do the same wouldnt they?

The fans at the Reebok are fed up with the board though (understatment!) - why have we not got any new players in already?
I mean everybody knew that Anelka was leaving so why did BWFC not act before the event and get these new players in before Anelka left?

I mean it does not take a genius to work out how much we would of got for Anelka.

Another thing - shame on all of you who booed Nolan against Derby - bet you were cheering when he hit that belter today!!
(Even though we lost) sadface

Is it any wonder Bolton fans are not going to the games! Yes the football was boring last season but they were winning, the premier league is more important than the cups but Megson and the team could at least give a hint that they actually bother.
There have been a few commentators recently questioning Megson's tactical abilities, it has to be said, they are right. He picks a rubbish team against Sheff Utd and blamed the players, OK. He picks his best team today and can't motivate them for a derby match when they are desperate for points!, its not like they played well. Its OK that they beat the likes of Wigan, Birmingham and Derby, but these teams were playing rubbish so why wouldn't have bolton won the games convincingly?
Megson seems an honest decent chap and wants to make bolton a success but he needs to make some quality signings and get the team sorted or its championship football.

Forget league positions, this was two poor teams.
The Premiership is decieving when you have a team like Blackburn in the top half.
Dismal stuff.

Obviously 4thecaptain has only seen this match that Blackburn has played in and has no idea of what he talking about, poor game good result, when Blackburn travel to Bolton you don't expect anything else they both play in the same fiesty way. It either ends in a great game or a poor one unfortunately this was the second. - A nice 3 points to keep us on our way.

18,315 attendance.
That is extremely poor considering it being a Lancashire Derby.

I think the 315 were blackburn fans. One of the worst supports seen at the reebokthis season and they only had to travel down the road.

But on the subject of the match, we were poor.....again.
