Great result and keeps us ticking over after a mixed few weeks. Although we were disappointed in all 4 defeats in the last three weeks, it's good that we've always bounced back and won the bread and butter games like today. I also think Spurs are out of the frame now. I always expected them to have a say (they might indirectly) but they won't catch the second tier of us, City, Liverpool and Pompey.

Wigan away will be tough but hopefully AJ will be fit. It's great being a Toffee at the moment and this season we've broken the trend of one season good, next season mediocre. To finish in top six 3 out of 4 years will be ace, plus the little matter of Chelsea at home and the Uefa cup!

Top 6 would be great, but if we can stay within 5-7 points of Chelsea until the return of Osman, and the boys at the African Nations we'd have a genuine shot at top 3 finish. I know top 10 is hard this year 70 points might not even gurantee a top 6 finish, but you have to hope, and moyes gets better every year!

Having watched the Man City game this afternoon,it is so sad to see a side of Evertons dullness being rewarded with points.of all the teams in the top ten,Everton represent all that is bad in the old style of English football-hacking tackles, long aimless hoofs upfield, taking it to the corner flag at games end.Cahill never goes in to a tackle where his aim is not to end some professionals career and Lescott has all the balance of a one legged baboon at feeding time.the flair that Man utd and Arsenal offer is surely the only way to go but Moyes seems content on results by boring the opposition.they should be ashamed of this and even more we should ashamed that it actually gains them points.i would have thought that Everton would glad to get the team out of their postal code when the new stadium comes on line.

Thank you for sharing your inept and uncouth views on something you have little knowledge of. People like you make people like 'Forrest Gump' look intelligent. Now go and comment on an equestrian event and stop boring us smiley ......COYB......

I'm 16 and I love proving people wrong.

- It was Manchester City playing the 'boring' game, I recall them hoofing the ball up the pitch every time they had the ball.

- Joleon Lescott is a class player, hence being selected at left back and center half for England

- And 'Leave their postal code' ??
I'm from Kirkby and the post code is L32.
Short for 'Liverpool 32'

And Everton are the pride of Merseyside.
They are not leaving Merseyside, are they?

Well in Tommy and as for TeaTimeAtHarrods I find your logic slightly lacking

-A squad containing Arteta, Pienaar and Manny Fernandes does not equal boring.
