Lehman - Good Riddance, Diarra - Mistake!

Lehman played well for us while he was here but his egotistical attacks on Almunia lost my respect. He did the same crap with Khan on the Germany team and it's very disruptive for team spirit. Considering the quality that both Almunia and Fabianski are showing, glad to see the back of him.

On the other hand, letting Diarra go is a huge mistake. It is a shame that he is so panicked about his place on the France team that he has decided to mutiny against AW. I don't get it really because I've heard nothing from the French coach that sounded like his place was in danger. I don't even think Flamini has moved above him for france, despite starting in front of him for us.

I know you can't keep an unhappy player, but this kid will be a monster defensive midfielder, and it will not take long at all. It is a shame that he demands first team play because there's no way he can have that to the degree he wants with us. Flamini is just playing too well for that.

Big loss for us though. This guy will be another Makalele...mark my words.

The reason he wants to leave is simple - He can't risk losing his place in the German national team.

And if he is not 1st choice at Arsenal then he will not be 1st choice for Germany.

Lehmans has turned age and hes not competetive enough for the Arsenal team. Fabianski and Aluminia are all eager to in the starting 11.

Lets hope Wenger solves this problem and get Lehman out of our team

Come on you Gunners!!

chrisox: the only thing that is embarrassing is your poor spelling( as well as many of your other ungrateful arsenal supporters). lehmann (2 n's - .....) has been great for "you" at arsenal for many years, assisting in making arsenal successful. apart from that, he was by far the best goalkeeper at the last world cup, and is still miles better than anything england, scotland, ireland or wales have to offer.

i used to think "i don't care who manchester united lose to". after the way you clowns jump on lehmann, i hope man u cream you.

archsportsyncopator - (great name, not!)

You should get your facts right. Lehmann has assisted in making us succesful?? erm...so what have we won since he signed. not enough. Man united cream us, oh come on when was the last time that happened they havent beaten us in two years. ungrateful arsenal supporters? of course were ungrateful because grumpy old lehmann has slated Almunia in the press about how hes not good enough and calling him "championship standard". disrupts the dressing room. can u imagine what him and berbatov would be like in the same team, absolute nightmare.

oh my. the poor other players at arsenal. they can't stand up for themselves and need to be protected from each other by the arsenal fans.

i thought you had a premier league football team, and not a kindergarden.

anyway, you seem typical of the so-called supporter who puts a player on a pedestal, and then immediately starts to demolish him.

almunia will be your on list at some time.

if you can't figure out for yourself what success means, then it doesn't help me trying to explain it.

fortunately, you need only look at how few people whinged about lehmann like you did to see what real arsenal supporters are like.

sooner we get rid of lehmann the better he is bringing down the morale of the team with his childish behavior, in all honesty i think its time he called it a day.

diarra will become a good player shame he cnnot be patient for another year. look at walcott he came in and has been patient for 2 years, because he knows he will become a leading star for arsenal in years to come. both of these players need to see the bigger picture instead of thinking of themselves.
