Just having a debate with a few of my mates before, we have loads of quality youngsters. Who do you think will turn out to be the biggest star? Wasn't sure whether to include Richards or Corluka as there full internationals already and well on their way. But i have

1. M.Johnson
2. N.Onuoha
3. K.Etuhu
4. J.Hart
5. D.Sturridge
6. S.Ireland
7. C.Evans
8. K.Schemichal
9 V.Corluka
10.M.Richards
11.J.Garrido
12.G.Fernandes
13.V.Bojinov

Missed anyone?

I have to say Richards, Johnson, Corluka and Sturridge to be the best out of all of them! Onuoha looks a beast and maybe the next dunne? and joe hart looks pretty decent to become the england no. 1 in the future.. the other will surely become good premiership players but i doubt as good as any of those mentioned

Arsenals??

What good English players have their academy produced in the last 5 years? Not many

West Ham have brought through some awesome players though and carry on bringing through good ones like Noble.
---------------------------------------------------

Erm.. How about Bentley, Pennant, Sidwell, Justin Hoyte, Muamba there is 5 english players that Arsenal have developed who are all playing regular first team premiership football!

city have always produced decent young players, nedum onuoha and micah richards hav performed consistently 4 city over the last couple of seasons, i like the look of vedran corluka aswell, sven seems 2 hav dun a good bit of business ther, joe hart looks good, as does michael johnson. At the end of the day, it all comes down 2 the facilities that the academy and young players are using on a daily basis. Also the quality of the coaching has a part 2 play, the future looks bright 4 city at the moment.

man city definetly have the best academy in england.
mot including richards and corluka.

---------------------------------------------------

Citys academy is not the best in England. Pennant signed for Arsenal at 15. Fifa deems that any player developed from 15 and onwards not only counts as an academy graduate but also counts as a home grown player. So this includes Fabregas.
Sidwell. As far as i am concerned he is the reason Reading were so good last year and the reason they are doing so badly now. Hoyte made his 50th first team start this season. Muamba has made 17 starts for birmingham this season and is currently plays for England under 20's. Add to this list Henri Lansbury, Gavin Hoyte, Jay Thomas and Rhys Murpyhy who are all part of the England set-up.

You guys not mentioned Ishmael Miller?

That guy is quality, doing well at the Baggies before he got injured.

I also rate Bojinov highly, I reckon he will be great for you and if you played 4-4-2, he would be quality if he partnered Castillo smiley
