Spurs Lost Chance to quiet Arsenal fans!

Premier League Tottenham Arsenal

comment on the article

Arsenal are going to go on about how their B team couldnt be beat by a first- team Tottenham and all those ridiculous comments but the truth is Tottenham's first team DID OUTPLAY Arsenal's "reserve side" for almost 90 mins and EVEN THAT, hadnt happened in a long time. May I remind Arsenal fans too that a full first Arsenal team were very fortunate to get all three points when a certain Tottenham came to the emirates weeks ago! Why do Tottenham have ABSOLUTELY NO LUCK against Arsenal??

Point is....ARSENAL NEED TO STOP GOING ON ABOUT THIS RESERVE TEAM NONSENSE AND GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

Another thing....I don't think Arsenal should ever call us(United) fans arrogant because they are arrogance at its worst!

Unfortunately, the truth is even with Spurs fielding their strongest team they still are not in the same league. Be grateful Arsene has decided to let the kid's also play the second leg - it's the only way Spurs stand any chance on winning biggrin

i don't get it.

How can Van Persie, Walcott, Eduardo Gilberto be considered 'reserves'? These guys play week in and week out.
-------------------
No they don't, Eduardo is rarely used in the league, VanPersie was injured most of the season, Gilberto lost his place to Flamini and Walcott is a carling cup player at the moment.

So yes, it is a reserve team. Lets put it in another way for you, none of the players that started our last league game started against Spurs.

The first 11 is :

Almunia, Sagna, Clichy, Toure, Gallad, Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas, Flamini, Adebeyor plus someone else depending who's available. Reserves played I think you'll aggree....

Van Pirse a reserve player? thats a joke. He is a first team player not a reserve player. As soon as he is fully fit he is one of the first names on the sheet for the first team

Exactly you idiot ... as soon as he is fit.

He is clearly unfit and had the energy to last about 30 mins.

So on that basis you can't say he is a first team regular.

It really is difficult for some people isn't it.

Of those on your current first team list, how many of them played a part in either game last year? We were repeatedly reminded we were playing your 'reserves/kids'.Take away new signings and you might be surprised.Go on,count how many.

Columbia Gunner, what a load of rubbish. Teams can dominate the whole game and all the other team has to do is grab a very lucky goal. It doesn't mean that the other team is better or worse.

The argument about reserves bla bla could go on forever. The point of the matter is the game was drawm regardless of which team was playing. Ok Spurs were by far the better team but Arsenal have outplayed many teams and still not won.

You keep focusing on whether you can beat our ''first/reserve'' team, we will focus on competing in the BIG '4'(lol.)

The fact of the matter is that there are non-regular players in that squad which come 2nd or 3rd choice to the normal lineup, you are playing a weakened team that you cannot deny, says it on the telly, news, papers, punditts, comentators, so you argue with us, you may as well ring up those guys and complain to them as well ?
