This guy looked very impressive in his time with us last season but one must ask the question why Valencia didn't play him after paying so much money for him??

showed a lot of potential last time out, and his style should be perfect for our midfield.

MF will be a great signing if Everton can keep his mind on football. He has shown what he can do. His progress as player is a question mark. I don't believe it to be permanent as he is known for breaking deals with every club. Maybe if he understands he's no star material he'll get to be close to one.

At 21 he is just right for EFC. He is just developing so is bound to have areas that need improvement. Moyes will get him to play in our style and he will not be allowed to be a prima dona. With Arteta, Osman, Pienaar and Graversen we potentially have a very skillful midfield fluid passing midfield. Then there are Neville, Carsley and Cahill who can do all the hard work. We have Van der Meyde and Anderson da Silva and some younger players in the squad. I can not think of a better midfield at EFC. We also have the best forwards and the best defence we have had for ages. We just need some good luck and who knows.

The lad is a fine midfielder with flare and skill. And he is not afraid to run at players either. He's a good player and I am thankful to have him back in a blue shirt.

He has already proven he is capable of fitting in with Moye's boys and if Davey Moyes wants him thats good enough for me.

Lets hope that he gives us that extra creativity we will lack with Pienaar gone. Do I want us to sign him? Lets give him a couple of months and make a sensible decision...

We've come a heck of a long way under David Moyes, and now we are starting to reap the benefits. Fernandes is clearly a very good prospect. As Evertonians let's do what we've always been known for and get right behind our team.
