First of the Gang (U7081173) posted Jan 11, 2008 15m is certainly the price that the Bolton Board have put on us leaving the Prem .. I would gladly have kept him, stayed up and then looked again at the situation again at the end of the season ....

SUPERWHITEINEXILE (U3873057) posted Jan 11, 2008 KingTevez, what a conceited bufoon you are. not many Bolton fans thought they would get £20 million for Anelka but they knew he was worth more than the would be thief, Grant, was offering for him. £15 million is a fair price and no I won't be seeking any advise from you.

SUPERWHITEINEXILE (U3873057) posted Jan 11, 2008 fistofthegang, when you take away the buying price, his wages and his cut of the fee,I assume he did not hand in a written transfer request, what are we left with? certainly not £15 million. More like £3-4 million. Not a lot for your premiership status.

First of the Gang (U7081173) posted Jan 11, 2008 I would have fully expected, even if Anelka had stayed, that Bolton would have needed to spend a minimum of 5m in Jan to bring in a couple of decent defenders.
