Can Berba rescue spurs again today?

Last time spurs played Reading, they shipped 4 goals at home and it was only due to Berbatov rescuing their asses that spurs got away with it.

Can he muster up the same today, or will his lack of passion for the club and his increasing want-away attitude cost spurs a place in the 4th round?

Personally I think Reading will want revenge for their unexpected defeat at WHL last time and come out all guns blazing

Spurs 1-2 Reading

hey you FA cup fans!
just logged on and from what I read,it seen like it's the same old boring story involving the mighty spurs, letting in so many silly goals, being sloppy up front etc.you guys got to face the truth, you only get what you deserve. The back four, whatever way the gaffer's going to play just doesn't cut it.I've been and gone to England and the Spurs have always been abysmal.Though I'm not a Reading fan myself,I'm happy for them after the beating they took at The With Hard Lane last week.I guess the results like this one make for the true essence of the greatest cup competition in the World!Keep it going

Robinson has got to be the biggest modern-day fraud in the game. Surely he has dropped more clangers this season than he has made saves??

I was at the game today, and you have to wonder what has Jermain Defoe got to do to get in the side? Robbie Keane has been off form recently, should have scored today also Ramos takes Keane off for Tarrabt?!?!?! Why? He doesn't pass the ball, selfish and gready and Defoe scores goals (3 in 3 games) if I was Defoe I would want to be on that transfer list.

i am a robinson fan and so i dont want to see him leave. however i cant help but feel that he needs something done to build his confidence, i dont quite think shuving him in the reserves side for 2 months will do the trick!

Spurs were made to pay for all those great chances they didnt take. Robinson gives you a little hope and then goes back to his old ways. Some new defenders definately needed, a new keeper would be nice if robinson cant improve. But all in all was a very good game just a bit unbeleiveable how we cant beat reading reserves but can beat their first team, shocking really

I think Spurs are really trying to win the F.A cup this year as it will probably be their only chance of getting to play in Europe next season, unless of course they win the UEFA cup. In previous years when they were alot higher up the table they would field a few younger players but they cant afford to do that this year.

Anyone know the replay date? It states on the BBC website 15/01/08 but Spurs play Chelsea on 14/01/08. Surely this can't be right.

You must know more about Spurs than i do because i cannot remember a time when Spurs have rested players to give younger players a run-out. The FA Cup is & has always been very important to Spurs as a club & to the fans, having won it 7 times.

Although i do reluctantly agree that the UEFA Cup is our biggest chance of getting into Europe again next year.

ok

ippycrouch55,

Sorry fella but it cannot be put down to confidence anymore, i'm afraid its ability that he's lacking. Its not just this season but all of last & half the 2005-2006 season. I watch other goalkeepers come out 12 - 15 yards to catch the ball & think to myself Robbo would never do that, a) he wouldn't come out that far, b) he would attempt to punch it instead of catching it & c) his punch would only travel about 10 yards.

He made 2 good saves against Man City & everyone was saying he's back to his best. All goalkeepers in the football league make saves like that from time to time but yet again he's made another 2 blunders. Lehmann made 2 blunders & hasn't featured in the league since. Robbo has made 15-20 blunders & is still guaranteed the No.1 jersey.

Ramos, please act now.
