OK, so now we have Evans on loan till the end of the season, for me this is a good move, the kids got quality written all over him. I only hope he has a clause that allows us to make it a permanent move.

I read in the Echo that he has irons in the fire to bring in another 3 players before the end of next week. Other than the obvious, much publicised Lily Savage and Hunt any other hints on who they might be?

I hope it isn't Lily, he'd be a step backwards.

Keep the Faith. FTM.

evening, im a blackburn fan but enjoy watching sunderland if only to see gordon in action (scottish) and that kenwyne jones, but why you are so desperate not to sign robbie savage is bemusing to me

your problem seems to be conceding goals, and its a fact (look it up if you want) that when robbie savage plays blackburn have conceded less goals.

now to me that seems like a decent solution for you guys if you want to stay up.

Thinker 7 doesn't have a clue. Peter reid gave us two top ten seasons, comfortably finishing 7th each time, with limited money. Those seasons included beaten chelsea 4-2, arsenal and man u in the cup!

I fail to see why any Reading players (apart from Hunt, irish connection etc.) would want to move to Sunderland so the suggestions of Nick Shorey and Leroy Lita i think is some what unrealistic.

I think if we were to bring in some quality, it would have to be from abroad. As i'd hate say it but attracting domestic talent that is good enough for this league is something were going to find extremley difficult.

I thought that Kean would have been able to attract some decent players, much as Robson did when he managed the Smoggies.

Perhaps it's the WAGS - Sunderland is an attractive place to live, no worse the Middlesbrough and there is Newcastle only a short 4 x 4 ride away.

what is the point of getting on keanos back??? fergie would have been sacked shortly after arriving if we didnt give him enough time to rebuild United!

i say give keano time and he will deliver, it may take a relegation at end of the season, sunderland may stay up, but what ever happens, your not going to attract quality players straight away you need to earn the right to bid for them!

keano goes for his old team mates, because its obviously he is going to know more about them, and they arent as big a risk, and the experience they have had at united would be right for sunderland!

i say to sunderland fans, you have no devine right to be in that division, your there because of keano... you have no divine right to be in the top ten of the top division.... its a building process, give him time!!!

i think keane should look to strengthen the full back areas and maybe look to sign another middfeilder or striker
