SteveTheBluenose (U10448619) posted Dec 31, 2007 Sav would be a great signing - forgive and forget, I say. Much rather have him in the middle than Muamba. Boyd from Rangers would also be fantastic but I doubt we could afford him. Same with Hutton - everyone wants him so he won't be coming to Blues. Naismith and Anthony Gardner more likely signings to bolster defence - but aren't they both a bit injury prone?

PetefromSutton (U8625519) posted Dec 31, 2007 But why would we really want him anyway? We do not need a tough tackling midfielder; we have Muamba, Nafti and Johnson. He is hardly athletic anymore. I do wish we had never sold him and rate him as one of the best players and most influential I have seen there, but his time has gone and he soured the move with pranks after he left anyway. I recall him loving his goal against us the year we went down, told everybody he hoped we would get relegated and refused to be polite when he returned and also accused the club of forcing him out to be near his mum via Blackburn! Loved the charcter on the pitch hate the character off it!

Blue Lizard (U6414315) posted Dec 31, 2007 Savage is history....spoilt, money grubbing little prikk,me and my buddies would have a welcome for him posted Dec 31, 2007 You keep being linked with Scottish players (for obvious reasons) but I wouldn't be surprised to see a few players from the French leagues arrive at St Andrews. McLeish has alot of knowledge and contacts in the French game (apparently he was keen on getting a job there) so I'd expect a couple of players from there.

PetefromSutton (U8625519) posted Jan 1, 2008 BLUE LIZZARD do not be an idiot and sound like you have a 'firm' or some kind of moronic group. It only fuels the reputation of those idiotic fans we have. Agree about comments about savage though
