Dimitar Berbatov's future......

Premier League Tottenham Hotspur

There has been so much posted about Berbatov's future over the past year or so but it has really intensified over the past few months, especially when Jol was coming to the end of his reign.
Some fans have had mixed views on Berbatov's future but I think we can all catagorically agree that we all want him to stay and that Levy must pull out all the stops with a new contract. Whether we like it or not there is going to be clubs sniffing around come next summer but IMO Juande and his staff along with Levy and Comolli can convince Berbatov that Spurs is a great club to be at and that he can achieve great things with us.
I think Berbatov will be looking to see what the board have planned regarding new signings for next summer but I'm sure he has already seen the difference Juande Ramos has made and you can tell this by his curreent form. He is enjoying playing under JR and he loves the club and the fans so he doesn't need to go to a Man Utd or a foreign team when he has it all right now!!

at what point do everton fans class their club as one of the elite?????

you had a run in the 80's and then not alot else if memory serves me. it's actually quite comical to hear toffee fans say teams like spurs are a 'feeder' club to everton ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....i've never heard such drivvle. apart from cahil and poss arteta, i cant think of another toffee who'd make it on a spurs bench let alone start.....

Yer their group of players are... how many places above Spurs again?

Answer my question. If none of their players could get into your team, how come they are where you should be in the League?

ok well we've been pants the start of the season....but this aint about where you are now numpty, it's about where you are come the end of the season....are you the type of person who gets excited if you've potted more balls than your opponent in pool....dont mean anything til the blacks potted, or in this case the league's finished. 5th 2 seasons running my old son, and despite our appalling start, we're improving

You won't be 5th this season, that's for sure.

maybe maybe not but answered kaka's question me thinks.....beside, we're 12 points behind and playing massively better than the start of the season. you'll take this the wrong way but i doubt liverpool will mess up 4th so that leaves 5th.....now everton have been brilliant this season, but you're gonna get a dip in form soon and will need to get out of it before the likes of blackburn find their feet and 'b*gger me' west ham are pushing (sorry i take that back lol) ok so there's teams around you that are gonna push....i'm not going down that kids route of saying spurs will get 5th again, but to say we definately wont is just daft....mark my words, you've been so good this season you can only get worse!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Man Utd fan, and I don't think we've been very good this season.

and you're sure spurs wont take 5th.....similar things were said last season and we did it again....oh and please dont go into the comparing man utd's title challenge and spur's 4/5th challenge, it's old news and now pretty boring.....as long as you finish above chelski and of course the goons then i'll be happy smiley

Actually I was rooting for you to win the CL spot. I really don't know what happened to your players, you had an attrocious start to the season. I like Jol, but perhaps he should have gone earlier.

yes, berbatov has been a class act for spurs but if he doesn't want to play at spurs then why keep him? He is a class act and any person chasing ambition has a right to acheive what they are able to... If someone here could be at one of the world's best businesses instead of a highstreet independant shop i am sure they would take it. Yes, my team is spurs and obviously we need to hold onto quality players but not against their will.
