Why don't we buy Matty Taylor? Can cover left back, and left wing. Oh and he can score from anywhere on the pitch!

I would love a new striker, maybe Benni Mccarthy from Blackburn but I would be surprised if Curbs signs anyone.

BTW, Happy Hammer93, could you please leave the Derby fans alone, you keep upsetting them and then they go on and on about Tevez and other things they do not understand. I had enough of the whole Tevez thing last season and don't need Derby fans banging on about it, especially when they have no knowledge about it at all.

Matt Taylor would be a good buy, but apart from that unless Curbs can get a world beater with everyone fit we dont need cover anywhere else.

Oh common guys there is always room to improve. fine we got big team and when evryone is fit itl be great but when will that be dyer/bellemy injury prone along with a few others, faubert untried in the premiership and will probably need time, lunberg coming to end of carrer while etherington and boa morte arnt geting better and wont help us achieve anything.

i rekon instead of looking at just the gaps like the left back and cover up front whih i agree we need we should be looking to buy players that are better than the players we have at the moment or players that will become outstanding players like barnes, i would love to see us buying young stars like him as a club with real ambition needs. i wouldnt mind buying bent for 10m as i belive he would work well with ashton and they are a simular age both with the best of their years ahead of them but i dont see spurs selling him as berbatov may be leaving so they will need him. the 10m isnt that much these days considering as we signed ashton for 7.5m or about i believe and that was before revenues in the prem probably increase by 50% through these new tv deals and alike.

absolutely agree we need undiscoved talent not the dregs that have been passed from club to club. the backbone is the likes of Upson, Noble, McCarthy, Ashton, Parker, Green, Neil and Collins with Collins, Pantsil & Cole as back up. Time will tell if Faubert, Bellamy and Dyer will fit in. whu have the best academy boss in the business so lets hope we can continue to bring youth into the club and offer them the incentive to stay. What would england be without Ferdinand, Cole, Lampard, Carrick, Defoe etc, even Terry was a wh schoolboy.

I agree with a lot of what's been said about who should stay and who should go in the January transfer window. Alan Curbishley wanted us to finish in the top half of the table this season and look to go on to better things the following season, which it looks like we are going to do.
Although I think we should not take our foot off the peddle and get as high as we can this season, once we have achieved what Alan set to do, towards the end of this season I think we should try introducing some of our academy players to see if they have got what it takes to be in the 1st team for next season.
One observation from the Man U game, or should I say before we kicked off, with the standing ovation that we gave to Carlos Trevos and his response to that standing ovation, don't be surprised if we see him back at Upton Park playing for West Ham by the start of next season, minus his R-sole agent.

Tiago is the right guy we need. He's a versatile midfielder! He can defend, pass, and finish. He's been great in Lyon, and hasn't had the chances he deserves at Juve! He'd be great at Upton Park!!! Gudjohnson..I mean...I don't want a former Chelsea diver on my team anyway. Shorey would be alright, although, I don't think we desperately need him. If we need a lefty he'd be Matt Taylor, since Etherington and Boa Morte out is quite a scare for us!!! Barnes would be great too, we need young, exciting, and fast players, and he can play in various positions as well. Bent should go nowhere near Upton Park. He's nowhere worth the money, and he's just lazy. He finds his form in Charlton, he stays, he goes to Tottenham, and knows he has to work hard to get over Defoe, Berbatov, and Keane, he wants to leave. This isn't what West Ham is all about!!! I wouldn't mind Benayoun back...ha.

INS: darren bent if curbs can bring back his form from charlton then we've got a 15to20 goal a season striker. Giles barnes. Quick exiting young player. Nicky shorey. England left back great passer if we get him our back four will be comple

Momo sissoko. Wants to leave controls the middfeild would be a great asset to our team

Outs: jonathon Spector gotta go awful player cannot pass cannot tackle cannot do anything right

Nigel quarshie championship middfeilder at most gotta get rid of him if we want to progress

Callum davenport. Never gonna play not our standards

Cristian dailly. Words can describe how bad he is

I would of liked to of seen young sign in summer but that didnt work so i think matt taylor would be a great signing left back in the whole we have and mccartney will be his backup.

tevez god no way will we be able to tempt him to come back!! Hese in it for the fortune now...So why not an attacker like The young brazillian Kerlo or Andy Johnson if he could recover his form with bellamy crocked ashton and johnson would play well together.

MAKE SURE NOBLE DOESNT GO!!

sell-mullins i just dont like him never have and he just isnt quality.
spector is just american!
Davenport not good enough for the club not even good enough for most championship clubs if being honest!!
Daily release!!!!!!!
