He was internationally renowned before too. Just the kind we can attract these days
Simply Stunning!!! Not seen the game and will relish a bit of Match of the Day tonight. Can't see why we shouldn't be gunning for the UEFA Cup now. Bloody marvelous stuff!!!
Berbatov is the best striker for Spurs since Martin chivers. I hope he keeps his mood in his hood and carry on smiling for as long as he lasts at Spurs
It wasn't marvellous at all... if it wasnt for berbatov... spurs wouldn't even be in the premierleague! he is the only reason on why u r winning

Does Gus Poyet only have one suit?In all his aftermatch BBC video interviews he seems to wear his dark suit, white shirt, black tie. Makes him look like an Undertaker.
I'm not putting Gus down btw... his English is clear, and he conveys what he has to say in a very intelligent way. Good appointment.
is it just me or does ramos' english sound clearer than poyet...i gues da accecnts r different between taditional castellano n uruguyan dialect but evn stil i dunno y ramos aint doin interviews...u lot wasted ur money on bent btw...henrys sale is becomin evn more bearable lol
Fantastic win.We are starting to look like the spurs of Jimmy Greaves and co.If we can stop conceding so many goals we could be right up there come end of the seeson.Jol was good but Ramos is in another league.
I'm surprisd Steve Coppell isn't fuming. I don't support either team, but Spurs 6th goal should not have been allowed. Berbatov's hand-off of the Reading defender would have been perfect on a Rugby Union pitch. It's not allowed in football, though, & I don't understand why it wasn't penalised. Don't try to claim shoulder-to-shoulder. It wasn't. A clear foul.As to goal no.5, Defoe had encroached so far, I'm suprised he wasn't offering Hahnemann advice on the penalty! By the rules, it should have been a re-take. In reality, it should have been a booking for Defoe & an indirect free-kick to Reading. Anything else is no disincentive to the atacking side to stop them cheating. At the moment they can take a chance & the worst result they suffer is a re-take of the penalty. That's not right...
