Saturday's Premier League action

Premier League

comment on the article

It's a glorious day in west London and the scene is set across England for another fantastic afternoon of top quality Premier League action.

We've got eight games, with seven kicking off at 1500 GMT and Arsenal's tricky trip to in-form Everton to look forward to later.

Describing the action as it happens on the pitch is my gig - the insane banter is very much yours.

This is where you tell us your innermost thoughts. To start you off, does anyone have any Christmas disaster stories to share with the group? Any rubbish presents? Any new year's resolutions you'll stick to for longer than a week?

Or just any good, old-fashioned football chat?

Whatever it is, let me have it.

all fans post your condolences on the motherwell site for Phil O'Donnell. Just out of respect for the player and football. All this bickering is irrelevant today.

"I have written to MOTD in the past about this, I believe there have been thousands of similar complaints over the last few yrs. Why ? I'm not sure but lest say in Athens in May I have never seen a more strained relationship with LFC fans and the Beeb. Also, ever noticed none, or v little after match comment with LFC coverage when it does get shown. A joke."

This was a while ago, man. I tried hard to sew the can of worms back up. Please, don't break it them!

:)

And yes, you are right. They use Hansen & Lawrenson as an excuse but - put it this way.

We played Derby and there were goals, entertaining football, chances.

Arsenal played Portsmouth, no chances really, Arsenal were outplayed, but could've nicked it.

Arsenal were shown first.

<doh>

You're spoiling for a row so be careful where you tread. We didnt beat the top three at home means we wont beat them away? You have a crystal ball somewhere? Great thinking. How many bet on Man Utd losing at Upton Park? You can be sure most felt they would win well. Someone on here even predicted they would score five! How many bet on Utd losing at Bolton? How many bet on Arsenal losing at all, much less at Boro? I could call many matches that went against form. And the title nor the season depends on three matches, whether they be home or away.
--------------------------------------------------

Ok now why should I be careful? Yes games go against form, well spotted. So on that basis, you will lose 1 or 2 you deserve to win over the next half of the season too. Also your failure to beat the likes of Birmingham and Spurs at home suggests that out of the four you will be the also rans this season. Also I would put money on you not winning any of the big 3 games you have left this season. You are correct in nobody thinking we would have lost at Boro, but it happens, same as nobody though you would lose at Reading.

Aww so did it mean you missed the game because it was past your bedtime? Does it matter who is on first? The Arsenal game was probably on first as it was the late game and had not long finished. Therefore more chance of people not actually knowing what the score was.
