if he wants to play weekend weekout, then he should move. he still can play, but at arsenal at the moment, it looks like there's no place for him with alumnia and fabianski doing well.

Jens has been an outstanding keeper for arsenal. But the time is right for him to go. The last couple of seasons he has been prone to big howlers which always cost arsenal dearly. He was a good replacement for David seaman and although a bit of a nutter was wat we needed at the time. Almunia is a class keeper and u only need to look at his progress over d years and his potential for the future. Jens said alumnia wud have to win big games 2 b no 1, u only need to look at the chelsea game 2 c almunia is up to the challenge. As for Fabianski he will be better than Peter Cech at his best just wait and c, the kid is absolute class. Check his stats from the polish league n compare to how old he is now and u see that the future is ARSENAL.

I agree that Lehman is a good keeper, but he's past his sell by date at Arsenal now.
Too many mistakes on the pitch, stupid remarks off it.
He is only still at Arsenal because, allegedly, he's holding out for too much money.

Lehman is a joker and should have left ages ago! Why is he still warming the bench?

Jens has been a great servant to us during his time but has always been a little to unreliable. The red card against Barca cost us a shot at the CL, but his save from Riquelme's penalty got us there in the first place. 8 yellow cards last season showed he was really beginning to lose the plot.

As a member of the Invincibles, he will always have a special place in Arsenal history, but his time is now up. Goodbye Jens and good luck!

Lehmann was an excellent signing at the time. But he has been getting sloppy on the pitch over the past 18 month, not just the glaring mistakes but also the ones he gets away with, punching/parrying the ball into dangerous areas, poor distribution etc. Almunia is doing well at the moment and Jens outbursts since being dropped have sealed his fate, he should go now while he still has a chance at Euro 2008. Arsenal will survive well enough without him.

The only good thing about this is that Almunia has been waiting in the wings to replace him. Remember when Seaman left and we were in 'no mans land' for a bit. same will happen with almunia and fab. get lehmann out and lets go poach a young keeper from somewhere - barca got any spare? lol

I think that Lehmann if he goes arsenal will have a young squad because he is going to reitier soon but he has been in the squad for 4 years and has missed home so he has choice to stay stay at arsenal or back home
