How did Burke play? .flair please Walt!Rangers by Firstuch (U9556151) 26 December 2007 What was Burkes performance like today? i know that his final ball can let him down at times but he certainly has the skill, pace and determination to be a great player...im sure if he gets a run of games then his final ball will improve. Birdiebagger (U8468040) posted Dec 26, 2007 OneAlanHutton's right - he started well and then faded. Although to be fair, after half-time, he didn't get much of the ball. Good to see Biuffel back in the team, he adds a bit of intelligence to the midfield and links the play well.

AceyBongos. (U9896217) posted Dec 27, 2007 Please Tully sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. posted Dec 27, 2007 I have been saying all season Burke needs to get a game. He gets his first one and MOM straight off, enough said. The guy has the most creativity out of any players we have.

RFC-CM-RFC (U9507922) posted Dec 27, 2007 McCulloch isn't played to play as a winger, he plays more midfield than anything, yes he does connect up attacks from time to time, but when do you ever see McCulloch in the box trying to score? never hes shots crackers from outside. You can't compare to completely different players (Burke, McCulloch) Burkes more technique and McCullochs more strength.

Vacamas (U6562803) posted Dec 27, 2007 McCulloch and Burke are completely different players! Burke blows hot and cold and is not reliable enough as he can't stay fit and needs to bulk up a bit to deal with some strong challanges that will come his way! McCulloch has been a great signing this year! For example, Boyd is top scorer in the league with 7 goals, McCulloch has had 6 assists, he is the type of player we need after getting bullied about the pitch under the Le Guen debacle!

BlueOrderBear (U10712642) posted Dec 27, 2007 Whoever is complaining about Mcculloch: Who do you think our player with the most assists is? Burke was far too inconsistent when he was in the team the first time. He would run at players but would try to beat them too many times and would end up losing the ball. Mcculloch may not have the flair but he has the goods and won't fall over in a light breeze. posted Dec 27, 2007 mcCulloch will be the player who gets the most assists as he is the only player getting a regular run in his positon. Novo, Adam, Beasley and Burke (had only 1 game) have all been alternating on the opposite side.

HonestTartanArmyBoy (U10223083) posted Dec 28, 2007 Buffel and Burke are class players! With Hutton and Burke on the right, we would be a lethal force going down that wing. Burke and Hutton are not afraid to take people on and that's what we have been lackin. We also need a decent left winger with pace who can run at people. Another Lovenkrands. Thomson has shown inconsistency. I was looking forward to seeing him play but he hasnt lived up to expectations. Buffel is a class act and its appauling that Smith left him out. I am actually starting to worry about Smith's tactics. They are awful! 4-5-1 in the SPL. We should be believing that we are the best team in the SPL and play with a 4-4-2. Or maybe even a 4-3-1-2 with Buffel playing jus infront of Fergie. Buffel is imaginative, creative, skillful and can certainly read the game well. This is what were lackin. We need to get rid of players in Jan. Cousin for one. He's a lazy git! Darche and Boydy in attack is an awesome force with Novo for backup. Weir has also shown that he's losing it. Its time for Webster to step up cos he's a class defender and would go well with Cuellar. Walter has lost it tactically and i hope he realises this sooner than later. 4-5-1 only seems to work against Celtic. We need to go all out if were to get points against the other teams.
