Estimating, I think Barney will win end up with 8 or 9 world titles in total.

But to win 8 world titles in a row then make the final again, and then win 3 more world titles in a row and then get to the final again, it's most unlikely, I can't really see Barney doing it.

There are more strong dart players from different nations now !
10 years ago and now is a big difference.

And offcourse a lot of players have joined the PDC now.

Think he's left it too late (should have came over to the PDC a few years ago) especialy now with such talent comming through

There's too much competition now than 10 years ago. No one would be able to win as much titles as Taylor did in this time. Not even Taylor himself. Almost everygame in the latter stages you are being pressurized a lot by the generally higher scoring players.

Besides, Barney is not really a consistent player. He has fantastic periods, of a few months, and periods where he's not feeling too confident. That's just in the character of the guy.

Barney may win two or three more at most.

Van Gerwen,Klaasen,Lewis,Wade & Shepherd all have great futures in the game and will be tough for Barney with the talent coming through.

I don't think Barney will win it this year, Taylor looks like he is going out soon. Tabern is a very good player and he has shown his class this year, if Taylor does win that match I think he will win 4-3 and go out next round. If Taylor wins he will go on to face Scholten or Mardle. My three to win is Wade,Scholten and Painter(Shown class beating Mason 4-0)

Barney will not get near to Taylors 13 wins because there is to many good players coming in to the pdc Taylor is the greatest player of his era but someone new with come soon but i do not think it is Barney. Wade to win this year.

Barney is 41 now. I think if Taylor retires soon Barney will carry on winning titles as often as he has done through is career- 1 every 2 years, there or there abouts. Therefore if he plays until he's 50 he have about another 3 or 4 (8 or 9 in total)
