Ask Ollie a question

Championship Leicester City

Ian Holloway

The Leicester manager gives his inimitable views on football and life in general in his weekly column.

This week he talks about a touchline disagreement with Norwich manager Glenn Roeder and why he's gutted at not being in the FA Cup.

He also gives his views on Arsene Wenger, deaf footballers and the woman who got to grips with her ex-boyfriend's privates.
Send in your questions for Ollie. We can't ask all of them, but if yours doesn't get picked, keep trying!

Hi Olly, i am a stockport fan. Just wondering how Harry Worley is getting on? he was a great prospect at Stockport, despite not playing a game he was well thought of. Also what are your thoughts on Jim Gannon and Conrad Logan?!

Thanks

Jon

Hi Ollie
As a Northern Ireland fan we've only seen fleeting glances of Gareth McAuley over the last few years. Working with him day in day out what do you make of him? And what kind of future do you think he has on the international scene?
Cheers

Hi Ollie, great column.

My 1 year old niece has hearing problems and it has been interesting for me and her parents reading your views and experiences.

On the subject of Deaf Footballers, did you know that Doncaster Deaf College won the FA Futsal Cup in 2005 (the Futsal equivalent to the FA Cup)and went on to represent England in the UEFA Futsal Cup? It was a great story and amazing to think the best 5 a-side team in the country was a team of deaf players.

hi ollie, i was wondering if you could help me, i am currently in my final year studying a degree in history.as part of my final year i have to write a dissertation.
my dissertation i have decided will be an investigation into whether there is still a sense of traditionalism in football, i was wondering if leicester, or any clubs that you have played at have any traditions that i could write about. if you could that would be great.
p.s. just finished reading your autobiography and i thought it was brilliant, especially as my dad got it signed for me.

i wouldn't believe everything that stapleton says. at the end of the day he is the chairman, he could have put a stop to those players going. there would appear to be a complete lack of ambition on the part of stapleton and the board, that's why we are losing all our decent players. its not ollie's fault, after all he isn't our manager now and its pretty poor that paul stapleton has decided to sink as low as blaming Ian Holloway for his own bad decisions.

Hi Ollie
Im just gonna say,WHY have we hardly scored any goals, gutted today cos weve got players but they struggle together, youve got to get them to play together better and we can go far Im confident. I have every faith in your abilities but im just concerned at our goals scored rate

Hi Ollie

I was just wondering about your thoughts on whether fans should get to hear about conversations between a manager and his chairman. Is it a case of hearing both sides?

I know it's not strictly a question, but just to let you know we think you're a legend - we're planning a boycott of the Walkers if Mandaric lets you go. Not that we really think he will of course, but it's always worth planning for the worst. Keep up the good work and we'll start getting results - bring on Norwich on Saturday for starters!
