Arsenal Kids vs Chelsea Rematch?

Premier League Arsenal

I'm not getting ahead of myself and discounting Everton and Spurs but there is now a chance that the Arsenal Kids will get a chance to get a rematch against Chelsea in the Carling Cup final...at the first opportunity. I don't know about you but I would be very much looking forward to that!!

If this were the case, who thinks Arsenal would win at the second attempt?

messi4arsenal, 'snottenham' I can see what you've done there, genius. I'm just amazed you can get so involved with a local rivalry living in a completely different country, do they not have any teams in Denmark? Plastic, glory hunting fans like you epitomise everything that's wrong with the modern game.

At what points are our kids no longer kids???

Beating 2 full strength premiership sides with 11 non-first teamers - how impressive is that!! No matter who you follow, you can't discount what Wenger is doing. This CC squad is better than last years but don't know if we'd beat a full strength Chelsea. However, with no Drogba and Terry we have a very good chance. Still Spurs to beat though. They will definitely play their first team and it won't be easy.

As for Saturday, well our players were rested on tues and theirs weren't!!

And as for that Eboue "challenge".... Is it just me that doesn't understand??? Terry booted the underside of Eboue's foot while Eboue was mid air looking the other way. He did not show his studs nor did he force his leg down and try to stamp on Terry, he simply ran for the ball, realised Terry was gonna make it before him and jumped to try and block the shot. Terry kicked Eboue, not vice versa - where's the foul????????? Just an accident.

To balance the scale, Fabregas did deserve a red for the Cole foul, and he did dive a bit with the slap on the face. But, Cole slated Fab in his book and Gallas scored. I think we're quits now!!!!!!!

As an Arsenal fan I was dissapointed with the way arsenals kids showed great flair against a fully fledged chelsea, scored first and ended up losing to an offside drogba goal. I for one believe that if Arsenal "kids" get another crack they will do their utmost to exact revenge. Our result against Blackburn was amazing considering we were down to 10 men after conceding twice. Come on Arsenal make the final

Everyone is counting everton out.
Last yearse final was'nt that bad.
Cofotony- agree with most you said but when Cole punch fabregas you could see a red mark where he was hit.
Come on the gunners!!!
biggrin

There is one word that describes Terry perfectly. It's "Hypocrite".

I think Everton are the least favoured side for a couple of very logical reasons. Chelsea must be the favourites because they are a top four side playing a full-strength team. Arsenal are second favourites because, although only a second 11, they are clearly an exceptional bunch. Tottenham and Everton, meanwhile, are sides of a similar standard but, for the reasons stated above, I believe Tottenham's semi-final task is slightly less daunting than Arsenal's.

Sorry, that last line should have read "Tottenham's semi-final task is less daunting than EVERTON'S".

I think the Arsenal second string and Everton and Spurs' first teams are probably all about as good as each other.
So it probably works out something like this:

Chelsea: 30% chance
Arsenal: 25% chance
Tottenham: 25% chance
Everton: 20% chance.

In short, it's close.

I like to see everton in the final due to show something for how good a job moyes has done. Not the best draw though!
