Dolphins First Win in NFL

comment on the article

I have just found out that the Miami Dolphins have won their first game in the NFL against the Baltimore Ravens. Another news was that the buyers of the Miami Dolphins have decided that the franchise will stay in Miami Florida.

My thanks to one of the readers of BBC 606 who gave me the news as well as to my Father In Law who saw the game. I am kicking myself in the legs for not having watched the game and for not having enough faith in the Miami Dolphins.

Regardless of what has happened, the Miami Dolphins have to rebuild themselves from the bottom to the top. The Miami Dolphins will have to change players, coaches, and with the new owners; there will have to be a new culture of winning and teamwork.

For those who think otherwise, I myself recognize that it will not be easy but since when has life been easy? When there is a desire to change and improve ones situation, things can only get better.

The situation of the Miami Dolphin is dire and can only go up after hitting the bottom. Only time will tell whether there could be a second Miami Dolphins Revival. But the present news is a consolation prize for today.

LONG LIVE THE MIAMI DOLPHINS!!!!!!

I have to admit, I was really starting to root for them to go 0-16. But getting Brian Billick fired is even better. Way to go Fins!

Let us all take a moment and reflect on the monumental collapse of the Baltimore Ravens season. That takes effort.

I'm with Indianapolis500... you couldn't help but of wanted the Fins to go 0-16... woulda been magic! But now they have the win, you might as well want them to win more... I suppose :p

What a sad bunch of cretins jmb and a few others are, being gutted ('or woulda been magic!') that a team didn't go 0-16. Typical British negativity (and of spending too much time indoors alone).

Well done to the Dolphins, not sure it will save the Jobs of Mueller and Cameron however.

No... the 'sad bunch of cretins' would be the '07 Dolphins squad. winkeye

Being a Colts fan and having watched some slugfests with the likes of Marino in the old AFC East... there is no love lost between the Dolphins and myself. Congrats on your victory, it must feel like winning the Super Bowl.

I think 'talentless & injury prone' would be a better way of putting it. Like so many sports fans you have to 'hate' somebody, more power to you! Bet you don't put as much effort into supporting your own team? In contrast to your approach, i'm glad Manning won a Super Bowl as he's a great player and decent guy so I don't begrudge the Colts anything let alone hoping they go 0-16. With a 46-23 W-L record in Miami's favour I don't think there's been much of a rivalry, lol!

The Dolphins in all likelyhood; will not defeat NE:

However, when they roll these statistics out as the announcers always do: I think they were the last ones do defeat New England there.
