I thought the referee didn't have a great game - but no complaints I am not taking anything away from ICT. You guys wanted it, went for it and defended it. So, well done.

To the Celtic fans complaining ICT got a soft penalty...well, how often do we see the Old Firm getting iffy decisions going their way?

Payback's a b*tch, ain't it? winkeye

The scary thing is, if Boruc was playing, we would have won 2-1 (and that's despite our disastrous back 4)! He would have saved the rotten pen, and saved their second! The only one he may have struggled with was the third! So be grateful we had Mark Brown in goals Caley fans! His surname resembles the colour of what I think of him! I worry about our goalkeeping situation next season when Boruc goes down south!

what you think he is brown??

you dont know that you would have won 2-1, boruc might have made a howler at another point so dont be straw clutching and take it on the chin young man

Was wondering what has happened to Stuart McCaffrey.

He was a neighbour of mine and was a few years below me at school.

As soon as Brewster came back he wasn't playing. Does Brewster not like him or is he injured??

The reason the result was refered to as "historic"?.... because it WAS historic.

First time Inverness have beaten Celtic in the league. That is why it is called historic not because Inverness are a wee team punching above their weight. Just thought I would clarify.

This result made up for the last two occassions, league and scottish cup, where ICT met Celtic in Inverness. On both occassions ICT outplayed them, only for lucky Kenny Miller or Van Humberdink goals in the 6 minutes of stoppage time. The balance is restored, ICT had their luck and hopefully now can beat the Jambos on Saturday.

It was hostoric beacuse if you didn't already know it was the first time we had Celtic beaten at home. They couldn't stand toe to toe against the best club in the north and their defending was horrendously shocking.

we desrve to be in the league and a club that was punching above their weight (Gretna) would be rock bottom and about 15 points behind 11th place.

Destroyed Rangers at home last year.
Destroyed Celtic at home this year.

Which one feels better

The club is getting better every season that we stay in the SPL and Hearts better build a brick wall because that is the only way they are not going to concede this saturday.

5 in a row! Yesss! And there are some darn respectable names in the pile of corpses too! I didn't see today's game against the Jambos but I'm pleased to see Duncan and Bayne on the scoresheet. Caley's teamwork has been exceptional recently and the fact, yes fact, that lots of different players are scoring is proof that as a team they are a real force. I don't want to get carried away but after 15 points in barely a month I think I can at least pause to smile smiley
Caley are playing with confidence and I have to salute the gaffer. I saw the shambles at home against Motherwell with the side barely able to string two passes together and really it's only the manager who can sort stuff like that out.
And a special word for Don Cowie, nowhere near as flashy as Rankin or Black but rarely puts in a bad game. He's a very complete player: tenacious tackler, excellent positional sense, calm under pressure, prepared to work hard and move into space to stretch the opposition. Congratulations ICT (and Motherwell), you're the good news stories of the SPL season so far.
