Strachan must go. If barnes got the boot for the same kind of result, why can't strachan? I believe we need to Win the Old Firm on the 2nd of January if we're to keep the title. I hope we do, but don't think we will

"we need quality and should pay as much as it takes to get it", "Strachan must go"...I'm astonished. I've been watching Celtic for 40 years and never heard anything like it from Celtic fans, do any of you remember what it was like in the late 80's and through the 90's. We're having the best spell of success we've had since the Buzz, TC and big George hung up their boots. This is Scotland, where are we going to get the tens of millions of pounds to buy the kind of quality you're talking about, and how does a run of 3 poor results ever result in the sacking of a Celtic manager. The problem is that there is a section of the Celtic support that just don't like WGS...admit it. This has nothing to do with his record...Barnes was CRAP... he did nothing at Celtic, listen to what you're saying and start admitting that this problem that so many of you have with his tactics, his man management, his signings, etc, etc, etc, has absolutely nothing to do with any of those things. I'm sick of listening to you all whining, shut the hell up and support the management in trying to continue the success we've enjoyed these last few years. I see real progress, and I challenge anyone on this forum to convince me otherwise and until you do, I'll be on here all the time defending WGS, his management team, and the board of Celtic who saved OUR team from the brink of bankruptcy and made us successful again.

You have won two leagues in a row and just qualified for the last 16 TWICE! wtf do you want from the guy.

well alli can say is that wee gs has to go at the end off the season every time wee get beat he comes out and gives prase to the players like celtros there is very few players in the team that i would keep McManus,McGeady,Riordan,McDonald,S Brown as well as big ven i no he has not been to good latley but the guy can and will get you goals wee gs recks me when he plays pressley every time and there is o,dea,Kennedy and big bobo there and in the transfer market the fella is a goon gets players waste wage bills and dose not play them killen tommy grav, Riordan who should play more ofter whats he like telling him not to go and then dose not play him in my eyes wee gs has lost it time to go mate and bring in a fresh man keano i say any one agree

I have to agree... WGS must go...and take half his duds with him... never been a fan of WGS but was prepared to give him a go.... i dont buy the argument of "we have qualified for the last 16 CL twice"... we have played shocking in most of those games and scrape through everytime..... WGS has brought in players who are not good enough to be a celtic player and certainly not good enough to see us progress as a team, lets have a quick look.... SNO.. is he a footballer?? i doubt it... Killen?? JVOH? orig. i thought he'd be good going on his record..but no.... Wilson?? he's softer than butter....Pressley?? David Weir has him in a foot race!! the list goes on..... oh.. and the best one of the lot... £1m ADAM VIRGO..... what a class act he is..... hence the reason he struggles at colchester now!!.... strachan may be ok in the enlish championship or lesser teams down south but he's not got the drive or tactical knowledge to be able to push celtic that stage further....
and to top it off...... The 'other lot' from castle greyskull will win the league at a canter.... cant get much worse..

The season isnt even halfway through yet, calm the beans guys!!!
January could be key for getting the team on a winning run again, a few signings, defensive ones tho, but we DEFINATLY have to get rid of some of the excess baggage -

SNO - hink he was headed to farsley celtic n made a wrong turn....total pish!
Killen - not SPL class (thats sayin sumthin!)
Hesselink - chris sutton without the finishing, intelligence, skill or strength
Doumbe - sclaffed the cup winner, done nowt else, please leave quickly!
Gravesen - u must be kidding, 40G a week for this f'n onion!
Zurawski - we have a top heavy team and him & Killen r proppin everyone else up

Strachan has to give Riordan a run in the team, for more than 2 mins a week. he should play him & mcdonald up front, so what if theres no 'Target Man' - dont play the long ball game.
Theres completely no sense in sacking strachan, the ppl who phone up and comment about it are just numpties who hate him purely because he played for aberdeen. 2 seasons, 2 titles, 2 cups and 2 last 16 places in europe - gie the boy a break, lets not turn into the English FA here!

in my opinion i think that celtic are over rated, the highlight of their season is reaching the champions league knock out stage.

i agree with some off your points but what about the way we have played this season we are getting worse and worse. how can he give players and that poor excuse off a sunday league with the exception off a few players in say that reaching the last 16 off the champons league when we still have not won away from home and to be honest some off the teams we played were not that great even ac played a team to try and let us win and what dose wsg do says hes going for the win and then plays only one up front and dose not even try for a win
