Two Cr*p sides playing cr*p football decided by a cr*p decision(even the Toon players were surprised by it).

There was no announcement of extra time when we got to the 90th minute, so why Howard Webb saw fit to let play carry on AND award a penalty against (19th) birthday boy Omozusi (who played well on his first full debut) escapes me. The lost point may well end up costing Fulham premiership status at the end if the season. Sanchez was right in saying they earned the draw by coming out on top in the second half, "outfighting" the magpies. As for the Emre and Viduka substitutions... didn't see any magic there myself.

Rushed off from work yesterday to get from London Bridge to Fulham for kick off, my God this match was dreadful. I can't remember seeing such a crap game of football for..er last season at home to Boro. Not impressed at all.

Dodgy penalty - no way
The young kid went straight through Smith.
Sanchez hasnt got a clue - to think people were shouting for Big Sams head, im so glad we didnt appoint LS.
Great PK from Barton, good guts from him to steal it from Milner.

Dont think viduka is fit enough to play high energy like the rest of the side. Think Martins confidence is low at the mo aswell

What great entertainment. Not the football obviously - I had tickets for Jasper Carrott's 'Rock with Laughter' at the NEC. Brilliant stuff then I came home and watched the 'highlights' of the 'football'. Soon wiped the smile off my face! I think big Sam needs to work on his comedy act.

"The Magpies scarcely deserved their win" -and! 3 points is 3 points away from home. If it was Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool et al, we would be saying how they never gave up, but as usual we are slagged off. I was surprised messrs Lawro and Hansen never argued about the penalty decision, like after the brum game - apparently now you're allowed to take a player's legs away after losing the ball. I've noticed also how there's been little fall out in the media over Gardner's challenge on Yorke for Aston Villa, unlike when Barton fouled etuhu - a challenge 10 times less dangerous - and got scrutinised for it by the press. Media bias against NUFC, whatever next, an italian in charge of england?

P.S. Not that I've got a problem against fouling SMB's, and I certainly haven't got a problem with Capello.

Calling all Geordies,
The media have it in for us, they see us as a club to poke fun at, we are doing ok but you would think that we were 9 points adrift. The BS from Lawrenson "the Geordies want to be entertained, they dont want boring football" needs to be put right, we want to win something and we dont care if its boring.
