SEEMS TO ME LATELY ITS THE SAME OLD STOREY.

REF SENDS ONE OF ARE PLAYERS OFF.... WWAAHHHEEYYY WELL DONE REF, THANKS FOR SPOILING YET ANOTHER GAME.

MISTAKES FROM WARNOCK AND A PENALTY MISS FROM THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WANNABE STRIKER MCCARTHY.

HUGHES NEEDS PLAYERS WHO ARE PROUD THE WEAR THE SHIRT SO FOR IN JANUARY BYE BYE TO....

MCCARTHY
ROBERTS
PEDERSON

WE WOULD PLAY MUCH BETTER AS A TEAM AS PLAYERS IV MENTIONED THINK THERE RATHER TO GOOD FOR OUR TEAM OR THERE 30.000 A WEEK WAGE AINT GOOD ENOUGH.

1 WIN OUT OF 7 IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH WETHER YOUR FIGHTIN RELIGATION OR FIGHTING FOR TOP 6.

CHELSEA NEXT..... SAME OLD MAN SENT OFF. PLAYERS NOT PERFORMING PLAYERS MAKING MISTAKES....

QUICKER JANUARY COMES THE BETTER THATS WHAT I SAY.

I USUALLY JUMP TO THE DEFENCE OF ROVERS NO MATTER WHAT BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Benni is a good goalscore when he can be bothered. To be honest, at this point if we were offered anything above 7 million for Benni id suggest accepting it. We have Roberts and Derbs who would give there eye teeth to play from the start. They have both shown there ready. Also the money from selling Benni would fund a new younger striker and a central midfielder with pace!

McCarthy ca be good, when he shows up. So i think getting rid of him is a bit premature. But you want to get rid of Gamst Pedersen ?!?! I think hes a quality player and it would be crazy to ditch him. If you do release him, one of the other clubs will snap him up pretty quick.

Instead of calling Benni 'lazy' we should be looking at why he's not involved in games. Maybe it's because our centre-halves keep lumping aimless balls 5 feet over his head? Maybe it's the fact that one of our widemen has not put in even a decent performance this season, so everything has rested on the performances of the other winger.

When we play football we create chances - yes, not every one of them goes in, but Benni will score more than he misses. Ok, he should have scored today, but he isn't the first to miss a pen. But our two goals came from decent crosses from wide positions - something that has been sadly lacking in recent games.

Selling Benni will not help the situation - we should be looking to buy players who can unlock defences, play passes, which will allow Benni to stop having to drop back into midfield to get the ball.

Gamst had a damn good game today! Benni has just been lazy, sorry has to be said! He wasnt dropped to the bench for a while for no reason! Bearing in mind Roberts got injured we didnt have much of a choice then to bring him back!

Shame is, i think if Roberts hadnt asked for a transfer, considering Benni's recent poor form, i think he would have had a chance.

Our midfield was the best i seen in a long while today, but our defence was dire.
Benni didnt do much and Cruz did all the work upfront until Derbs came on, who also did a good job for 10 mins...

Also bearing in mind Benni is going to be approaching his 31st year next season, now is probably the best time to squeeze as much cash out of him as we can and look to the future. Especially if the Board isnt going to free up much cash for Sparky...

Why are you complaining about McCarthy who plays centre forward, and Gamst Pedersen who plays left mid when you let in 5 goals today?!?!!? crazy..

Your defence and defending mid are to blame

Positives can be taken - we scored 3 goals away from home and didnt give up when 3-0 down and a penalty missed. I think a central midfielder would be handy in January and a real right-back too. Pedersen and McCarthy have more to give (though Pedersen was good at Wigan) so talk of getting rid of them is insane.

Well what can we say...Nelson & Samba both had off days, Warnock not at his best, could use a proper right-back (Emerton has no sympathy from me - stupid time to push a player over in front of the ref), I thought Pederson, Bentley and Savage played well and Rouque was on fire in front of goal.

I don't agree with anyone saying we need to sell...Pederson is just going through a bad patch (but played well against Wigan), McCarthy scores goals (albeit one penalty miss) and I don't know how anyone can say that Savage doesn't wear his shirt with pride - he runs probably more than any other player on that pitch and always gives 100% to Blackburn.

We are gonna have to up the tempo though on Tuesday if we are to progress to the semis but never fear - remember McCarthy's goal against Arsenal last year in the FA Cup QF??
