comment on the article

Now that Heikki is confirmed at McLaren, what do you think is most likely in 2008?

5. He will win the WDC

4. He will finish ahead of Hamilton in the WDC

3. He will be close to Hamilton but finish behind him in WDC

2. He and Hamilton will finish tied on points in the WDC

1. He will be soundly beaten by Hamilton

Use the rating system to vote (ie 5 stars = He wins WDC etc)

Good luck my friend:
You will never get a title with Hamilton as a team mate.
Dennis has clear preferences...

LH, HK, FA, KR, FM, ... even JB all are very good drivers. Their final result will depends about car, again car, team, strategies and luck. I think all of us must to know it.

We don,t know if LH is a real team,s partner (I,m sorry but last year all problems were started with his "decisions"); depending previous question we don,t know HK,s reactions during next season; we don,t know what about McLaren,s car mainly because spying affaire and new rules about TC; and finally we will see what FA can do improving Renault.

We know Ferrari will be in a very good position because no problems about his car,s development from spying affaire; has an excellent -KR- and another very good driver -FM- both experienced and confident about their car.

All other questions mainly depend from Renault & Honda,s reaction; Red Bull improvements and just a little bit more.

There are only a few other interesting questions: ¿Will LH accepts a fair and square equality with HK?. ¿Will be LH,s father always in top news?. ¿What about RD?. ¿Should be possible that McL will accept that a final winner is much more better than two loosers?.

Main question for me is to see what happens with TC and cars. Because I think a good car is around 75%, a good team about 10% and driver ... 15% ...

Sorry for badly English.

why do people on these boards insist on personally insulting people they have never met? it makes no sense to me....

just concentrate on the topics at hand and things that you can actually have an opinion on, not "Mr. Anthony, please... SHUT UP!!!"

He seems no worse that JB's dad and no one said anything about him... wonder why? Anyway he's here to stay so you'd better get used to it Sugoiii, denwyn etc...

Re: LH's Dad.

Has he EVER slaggged off Alonso or the authorities or McLaren?

Lewis is the latest British sportmsna in fashion, so his Dad, as maanager, will get targeted a lot by the media! Duh!

At least he genuniely cares about his sin's uccesses and is not some facelss capitalist who would sacrifice Lewis's career and lifestyle and qulity of life for a quick profit!

I am disgusted at the comments posted ref Lewis' father. Are you jealous of his love and dedication for his son. Someone asked him how he felt about the new signing and he commented what do you expect him to say????? Get a life and enjoy the sport!!!!!!!

McLaren will have an interesting 2008 race season. Any new driver signing would have had to think long and hard, the favouritism element is evident. It's something that HK raised with them - that he would get parity - not sure if this will be the case? Perhaps this is why they couldn't sign NR. History at McLaren doesn't bode well. Senna/ Prost - Raikkonen/ Montoya - Alonso/ Hamilton ... history repeats. Driver beware.

Ever since I remember, I’ve always been a motor racing addict. From the days of the great ones like Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Jack Brabham, Jacky Steward, John Surtees and so many more. All of them wrote the history of Motor Racing, a lot of them with their lives!
All of them are remarkable persons and personalities. For Frenando I never got the impression that he is a team’s man.
Hamilton on the other hand is a phenomenon and reminds me of no other driver!
As far as his father is concerned, the comments of denwyn and sugoiii are a disgrace!
I am a father of a very talented young man and, certainly, if he was racing I would have acted as his manager.
Any young man who is facing sudden success and global recognition, due to his undisputed talent, needs not only a good manager but also careful guidance.
We have all seen many talented people being wasted from not being able to handle publicity and instant fame.
I think that Mr. Hamilton Senior is doing a great job, much to the regret of gossip tabloids, magazines and the morons that read them.

I wish Heikki well, may the force be with you - you are gonna need it! It's the same package as last season only wrapped differently.
