conscienceman (U9389407) posted Dec 14, 2007 Giving my opinion on SWP and KALOU! really i'm disappointed with their games especially SWP.In the area where i live people call him beautiful nonsense, cos he makes good balls from the back and getting to the front he messes it up.Also for kalou he's a player i woouldn't bet on cos what compounded to the departure of jose was wehn we had 20shots on goal and couldn't take 1 in, and it was Sheva and Kalou there then against Roosenbourg.

JeremyBatesBeatAllTheGreats (U10373429) posted Dec 14, 2007 I read something once that Jose's sucessor at Porto was on a hiding to nothing not only because he followed a European cup winning coach, but also because he was a plain man following a handsome coach and apparently this was important in Portugal. Now, did you see the footage of him walking back and forth in front of Roy Keane at the weekend? Hllarious. Basically the man IS Uncle Fester. I don't know wether that's true about Portugese football, but it seems it's not about English. Perhaps Chelsea fans are just happy to have a manager who whines less than the average Daily Mail reader. I know I am.

sistig (U10582467) posted Dec 14, 2007 all this means is Grant gurantees himself a bigger pay off when he leaves the club. he hasn't proven himself against a decent side yet (apart from beating Valencia away), until he has done that a couple of times we won't know how good he is. if Steve Clarke had been in charge all this time he would've beaten the teams we've played, i'm not convinced by him until he beats some of the top Premier League talent and strong European competition.

ExecuKev (U8288731) posted Dec 14, 2007 The Chelski setup from Chairman through to manager fits better without Mourinho. The team is the same... the tactics are basically the same... it's just more harmonious now which is better for the future.
