I said before the game (yesterday basically) that I would take a win last night and a draw on Saturday. I stand by that.

This is the best time to be a blue in a generation. The last tinge of excitement like this was around 95 when Joe Royle had his chance. I do feel that something special is brewing though.

dezzyb......you guys will never understand. The club motto is 'Nil satis, nisi optimum', or, put another way, victory is not enough, silverware is not enough and while the ManUs and Arsenals relish collecting silver, we Evertonians have much higher standards....we demand an excellence of quality, style and commitment ..... never mind. For those who believe no explanation is necessary...for those who don't, none will suffice!

Am I wrong in thinking that there is only one leg in the semi final for the Carling Cup?

there are s in the carling cup final.
1st leg, wednesday the 9th of jan, 2nd leg wednesday 23rd january.

yak and yobo would only miss the 2nd leg, an hopefully by then we will have stubbsy back, and aj, vaughny, big vic all firing. So its not going to be so bad
