It is very rightly pointed out by the legend that the pitches in India are not going to help them adjust in Australia. The ongoing series is a big bore
with eventually every batsman able to get a century.
Heard Aamir Sohail say yesterday that Wasim and Waqar failed to groom the bowlers for gen next in Pakistan.
Well I don't think so.These r champs and need to be treated well and respected for their advise.
I am sure people going to them would not have returned dissappointed.
And even after teaching something it is ur own talent that is required to execute..
Coming back to this series the only man who can make difference now is Shoaib Akhtar..If India are dismissed cheaply we have a game on..
Yuvi and Shoaib...pls add some exciement to this
ho hum..... series

The indian team to tour Aus will be full of great bats but i have just seen the trio of Lee Tait and Johnson anihilate the KIwis in the 20/20 game on the fast Perth pitch and even with all the great Indian bats my prediction is 3/0 to Aus.
Australia has never been a happy hunting ground for teams from the subcontinent and i think this will continue but the great Indian bats are going to cop a hammering from the Aussie fast bowlers. Tait was devastating with his speed estimated at 160 kph but fortunately for the Indians there will be no test in Perth however they will experience
speed bowling that they have never faced before. The trio of Aussie fast bowlers reminds me of the great WI teams with their battery of quicks.Should be a great series.

If India are going to do well in Australia they're going to need to take the attack to the Aussies. Lee, Tait and Johnson are all lethal bowlers but they can also all go for runs. If you sit back and defend evetually they'll get you so you need to attack, attack and attack and make them think twice about where to bowl. If sides did this in the past Warney or McGrath would just come on and gain back control but the Aussies dont have that luxury anymore.

I hope Kumble will set Pakistan around 320-340 to chase so we have a exciting last day. But i feel India dont have the bottle as they will be happy to hold onto a 1 nil win.

If pakistan had Umar Gul, Asif and Shoaib Akhtar fully fit then we would of beat india i think. Our batting wasn't all that bad, Our bowling let us down sohail tanvirs inconsistency in line and length, mohammad sami was useless and Danish Kaneria was absolutely rubbish. Pakistans team selection was messed up no great balance in the team

Obviously Wasim has a good point.

The problem is India do not really see themselves beating Aus away, so they had to do whatever it took to win this series against Pak which is understandable.

Sharma did take 5fa but to compare him with any great bowler is frankly laughable at this stage laugh

CLASSIC COLLAPSE LIKE A CONTROLLED DEMOLITION. BACK IN THE DAYS OF PAKISTAN CRICKET DURING TIMES WHEN PLAYERS COULD PLAY CRICKET 350 WOULD HAVE BEEN A CHASING TARGET. NOW FAISAL 'CANTBAT' HAS PROBABLY CEMENTED HIS PLACE WITH A POINTLESS 50!! AS FOR WASIM AKRAM- HE TAUGHT IRFAN PATHAN!
