How will GB boxing fare in Beijing?

comment on the article
Frankie Gavin

What do you make of the chances of British boxers in Beijing?

Frankie Gavin goes into the competition as favourite for lightweight gold after winning the World Amateur title last month, but how will he fare?

Bradley Saunders, Joe Murray secured bronzes at the tournament in Chicago to qualify while and Tony Jeffries also goes to Beijing after reaching the quarter-finals of the light-heavyweight division.

But how do you think British boxing will fare in Beijing?

Certainly in with a chance of a couple of medals. I just the likes of Degale, Maguire, Saunders and Mwbakongo qualify aswell.

Depends on the judges as well as boxers ability as they traditionaly are worst and most biased of all judges in the Olympics and decisions cannot be reversed.
Recall 1972 in Munich when a decision was so bad it almost caused a riot to break out.
I dont trust China which is the worst example of fair play and democracy on the planet.
Hope I am wrong.
