Grinded a result from one our hardest games of the season. Confidence is high. Moyes has come on so much this season, I loved the subsitute taking off a mid fielder Pienaar for a striker AJ
A lot of teams wont get a result at Pompey
Brillant boys

I cannot believe you are blaming Moyes. He is a fantastic manager who has done brilliantly for us. Failure to understand this is either ignorance or stupidity.

A point at Pompey is a good result - the performance was not overly inspiring - but neither was Pompey's.

As for the clown who's slating Moyes - you're obviously not an Evertonian - or at least you're not an Evertonian who actually knows anything about the game...........

Blackburn, Villa, Pompey, City and you guys at Everton will probably be going for the UEFA cup slots this season. There's only 2 or at most 3, and even if you finish 7th or 8th and miss out, I don't think it's necessarily a bad season because all of the above teams are very good. Of course, however, if you do miss out, you need to make sure you're better next season.

Super result away from home from one of our main rivals. You know the old saying, win your home games and get a point on the road and you're doing well. Unbeaten run extended too, looking good. May have been a bit "backs to the wall" but Pompey are a very good side, and anyone who can't see that is blinkered. Before the match i'd have settled for a draw every time. This was, cliche time, a UEFA 6 pointer so not losing was more important than winning. Maybe we reflected this in our game? Just think, beat 'em at home and we took 4 out of 6, an excellent return.

As for the pleb slating DM, do us all a favour and go and support the spanish waiter over over the park!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that people are having a go at Moyes. What planet are these people from? Who would they replace him with? Paul Jewell? McCleish? Two difficult away games in recent weeks, Chelsea and Portsmouth. Defeats? None. Unbeaten in 8 games. And they're questioning the guy in charge? The mind boggles!

David Moyes will go down as the best Everton manager since Harry Catterick.

He has steadied a yo yo club and taken the supporters from thinking of avoiding relegation to thinking of trips to Germany and Holland. Yes, he has made mistakes and caused mega frustration at times but he is far and away the best boss the club can have at the moment.

Long may he reign!!!

Dean
