Uefa Cup - Live

Uefa Cup
comment on the article

It's hotter than a pair of Gordon Brown's pants at Question Time tonight as three of Britain's finest (ish) continue their march towards Europe's finest (ish) prize on a balmy, warm winter's evening (ish).

It's round three of the group stages for this trio and victories are pretty darn important if they want to make things easy for themselves come the final round of matches next month.

As always I shall be relying on you people to get in touch to ensure this is the best informed, most representative, funniest e-commentary this side of, erm, Wednesday and the weekend. Nice one.

All give it up for smashingmeiterules for singlehandedly backing his club to a draw. CONGRATULATIONS. Was planning to make fun of bolton if they had lost. Well fought.

Re: Scots games.

Always potential there for us to lose those games. I didn't expect Aberdeen or Rangers to get much change from Athletico and Stuttgart away from home. Celtic kept the flag flying and both Glasgow clubs still have a great chance to qualify.

Considering some of Aberdeen's results away from home this season ie 4-1 to Hearts at Tyncastle, I think 2-0 away to a decent Spanish team is no disgrace.

The Southern media will always try to put a negative spin on Scottish performances in Europe, but I think we're doing fine. It's only foreign stars that are saving English teams blushes.

As for the aberdeen game, who realy thought we could get anything agasint a teamspendng £40 mil in the summer.

However

the bbc have it wrong as usual.

A pan loko draw puts loko on 3 and out the comp (near enough)

a copen AM draw, put copen on 4 points.

If we beat copen in our last game , i believe we go thorugh on a better head to head record.

All is not lost, as long as something stupid does not happen in next game's when we dont play, we will be left to win a home game to go thorugh, how many of us would have taken that come the draw.
