Premier League Liverpool

comment on the article

LET'S ALL SING THIS TOMORROW AND SHOW G&H WHAT WE THINKK OF RAFA BENITEZ!

When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the Yanks,
We have pride in our team,
And our goal is the sky,
And to Rafa we offer our thanks.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Benitez, our heart and so-ul,
Walk on,
Walk on,
With hope in your heart,
And Rafa, will not, walk alone,
He'll never, walk, alone.

Hope you don't mind me using "The Anthem",
it seemed poignant somehow.

Silly boy, you miss the point. Fans should care about BOTH.

You show incredibly stupidity to ask who cares about Europe. Man United seem to care a lot, as they are doing very well this season.

You're not a good supporter, dimbo.

The only ones who care about Europe are the clubs that are in it (as they would!) & the press, who have nothing better to write about. To everyone else the CL is a very dull, practically closed shop & the UEFA cup is full of teams no-one's ever heard of.
I watch a few liverpool games as I live in the area & have friends(?) who force me to watch their generally tedious encounters while they moan all the way through.
Anyone with half a brain can see that a rotation policy does not work in England, so that rules out Benitez too. Purely on the grounds that he leaves Crouch (& against Birmingham, Torres!) on the bench while picking tripe like Kuyt & Voronin instantly tells me & my Liverpool supporting pals that he hasn't a clue. Personally I'd like him to stay, as a decent manager might be able to lift them above fourth, which is effectively bottom place in the league they play in (& where they will finish this season.)

To the bloke who laughed at the Liverpool fans' protests, what else can they do? It might be "small-time" in the larger scheme of things, and maybe the Yanks won't listen. But they have a right to say "we're pissed off", and let the powers that be know it too.

If you only fight when you can definitely win you wouldn't fight much would you? I'm with the supporters, football clubs are not there to be cash cows for multi-millionaire tosspots from the one large country that doesn't give a shit about the biggest sport on earth.

Fans have a right to be angry and say so, they are not small-time they are the lifeblood of every club.

"Silly boy"... lol, good one.

Fans SHOULD care about both, I agree. But when the main European competition can have 4 teams from the same league and still call i a "CHAMPION'S LEAGUE", THAT is a joke. And the UEFA Cup is just as big a joke, when the teams that get knocked out can drop straight into it for another chance at Europe? Come on, you're having a laugh.

All the great managers have the right idea - Europe is nice, but the Premiership is the one that counts.

Of course I do, but unfortunately the alternative is to stay home alone to watch those awful soaps which clog up the tv channels before nine o'clock. And I don't really enjoy drinking in the house, so at least I'm in the pub! I do try to sit with my back to the screen though...
