Scotland will be a suprise... I like their game. I predict they will be fighting for first place with Holland. Poland is also looking good. (cant say the same of ireland... capable of the best... and the very worst)

4points from 2 away games isnt a bad result and montenegro arent a bad side. i think ireland could battle for 1st, a draw away to italy and win at home is very possible.

So far so good, 6/6 points and two more games this year. By Xmas let's see 12/12 and then we can all relax. Surely Belarus and Kazikhstan are both beatable.

I think the asian draw for group 2 is the hardest. this is because every team in group 2 of the asian world cup qualifying 2010 has already had at least one time where they qualifyied. I think this will be the table at the end of the fianl qualifying round
1. saudi arabia
2.Iran
3. NOrth korea
4.south korea
5.UAE

It looks like UAE is the team the other 4 should defeat, no offence to that country meant, the others are all probably larger countries.

So, the deciding games will be those top 4 against each other.

I guess it is set up so that each of the teams face each other only ONE time.

I'll go ahead and pick:

1. Iran
2. Korea DPR
3. Saudi Arabia
4. South Korea
5. UAE

I read an article somewhere that North Korea (DPR) has been playing well in recent times, so maybe one of the Koreas can get into it.

The teams look fairly equal, as both Korea DPR and Saudi Arabia defeated UAE 2-1 at UAE.

group 2 : 1. grecce
2. israel

group 3 : 1. czech republic
2. poland
3. N. ireland ( sorry guys dont i dont think u will make it )

group 4 : 1. germany
2. Russia
4. wales ( I am afraid finland will finish ahead of u guys )

group 5 : 1. spain
2. belgium

group 6 : 1. england
2. croatia

group 7 : 1. france
2. serbia

group 8 : 1. italy
2. ireland

group 9 : 1. holland
2. scotland ( oi oi oi )

group 1 : thats where I disagree with most u guys. I think portugal may not qualilfy.

I predict : 1. denmark, 2. sweden, 3. portugal.
based on these assumption.
portugal Vs. sweden will play a draw on saterday.
and denmark will win away against malta.
the standing will be: denmark 10p,4 games. portugal 6p,5 games. sweden 6p,3 games.
and I predict denmark will win the match they got in the hand. home against albania.
denmark will have 13p, 7p ahead portugal.
that might be to hard for portugal to catch.
especially when I assume denmark and sweden will play a draw in both their clashes, or a win each.
to be honest I havent been impressed by the portuguese side lately. I think they are abit over rated.

I reckon Ukraine will qualify ahead of the Croats, their fixture list is more accesible. We'll be with them.
