Pakistani gave away wickets as a free gift to the Indian bowlers today and did not have any wish to save the match. Pakistani have forgotten how to put up a fight and win matches.

I believe that there is something basically wrong with the Pakistani set up and management.

The new coach is not inspiring the lads.

They are not happy with Shoaib Malik's captaincy and desert him when he needs them most.

The coach is not picking the right team and sticking with non-performers and afraid to experiment.

Some team members lack enthusiasm and will to win and care a penny if they win otr lose as long as they are picked because of their names and not on performance.

PCB has to make some changes and fast. They should warn the coach to get results or pack your bags to Australian bushes.

The manager should be sacked because he is totally un-inspring and reluctant kind of a chap.

Do not pick Sami and Tanvir in the test matches. Tanvir is more effective in ODI and needs more experience to be a regular test bowler.

Get new openers and drop Yasir Hameed in the next test and bring in Afridi as an opener and whip him every time if he throws his wicket away, and drop Akmal

Lastly, if the captain is not up to the standard, replace him.

II agree SC

And Pak must start looking for other prospects, I do not know why Mohd Irshad who can be quick is not ion conytention and Rao Iftekar will also figure in case Asif and Gul take a longer time to recover

Malik will need a good year at the helm to take pak up, and from what I have seen PCB is fully supporting him

To frustrate an all rounder of the calibre of Abdul Razaak to the extent that he announced retirement from Int.cricket at such a young age shows how interested the authorities have to have players who can win matches.Shoiab is not performing himself possibly due to pressure. If the coach is a specialist bowler then you certainly need some one exclusively to impart batting tips according to situation during team briefing.Pakistan are still very lucky that Dravid got out to peach of deliveries in both the innings specially the second.Sachin's frustrating their bowlers in the second innings was a lesson for any batsman to take because not playing his shots and letting Ganguly do that he was just avoiding any hiccups in the dressing room in reaching the target which has been nearly achieved. It is not far that Yuvraj will be another ace batsman in line up.
One wonders why are players like Wasim Akram not being involved in team management and not ot forgetting Imran cricketer turned politician who will always be willing to help his players if he was heeded to with some discipline.

Hats off to Indian bowlers for restricting pakistan to 247 in the second essay. India though in drivers seat can still lose this Test, if Shoaib delivers a fiery session tomorrow. ifr he can dismiss Sachin, Laxman and Dhoni quickly, Ganguly alone will be left and India's tail has the reputation of folding in an over.

So, Pakistan should not lose heart and take a leaf out of Australia's playbook. Every run must be denied. Then they can still win. Remember, the fifth day at Kotla is a near impossible pitch to play on

Paksitan should appoint Sarfraz Nawaz as a coach. sarfraz was a very successful fast bowler and has bowled with the legendary Imran in tandem to bundle oppostiions for cheap scores. Time to bring him in as coach.

A classic example of how intriguing and capitulating a test match can be..hats off to both India and pakistan..But can India break the Aussie juggernaut?..will be a big question mark of all the cricket fans from the Boxing day test..All the best India for the rest of the series and series "Down Under"

In the end, it was a convincing victory for India....

It's hard to see what changes Pakistan can do for the second Test, seeing the squad that they brought with them. I really think Afridi should've been in the squad.
doh
If Gul is fit, he should come in for Sami, who, IMHO, is a complete waste of time!
