BlackIsleJag (U9479045) posted Dec 6, 2007 I'm not into long sermons as some of you are, Nor am I and England fan. I simply believe that Beckham should remain in the England setup. He is what I would describe an Iconic Inspiration and as such needed (yes NEEDED) by both the fans and players. In all my observations of England matches of say the last 7-8 years, Whenever Beckham is on the pitch the crowd rises and the team goes up a gear.
