The Manager

St Johnstone

So another TOP english club has come sniffing (ha ha) and are tempting to take Owen Coyle away from Saints. Is this a good move for OWEN or a good move for St Johnstone ?

Will he stay and prove he can WIN things at St.Johnstone and not just be considered a "good" manager.

Games this season have NOT proved that OC has the credentials to go to a SO CALLED bigger club and be a success.

IF and its a big IF he does go ...WHO next for Saints ?

Sandy Stewart and Derek McInnes !!!!

Sounds good BOMBER managing Saints...will that mean we raid Rangers for players rather than Celtic.......Papers and the Stirling Albion site hint at Allan Moore (ex-saint) and it the papers claim that OC recommended Moore as a prospect....Great to see so much interest in the Post......Just hope the players rise and win the challenge cup

Latapy has declared his interest. Supposed to be a prett competent coach but im not sure if i would like him to take saints as his first job. Seems a bridge too far.

Folk have meen saying McCoist! Nae chance! It would be amazing but he is gonna be the next rangers manager and is specifically being groomed for that job!

So OC has left to live the highlife in England. Well congrats to him but i don't think he is ready for that move just yet.

As for a replacement well, paul sturrock needs a job.........it is a long shout but not unrealistic. But i feel Mr Brown will stick to the cheap option of weir and latapy, or possibly stewart and latapy. Depends if we can keep stewart.

But whatever manager comes in he will have to work hard in jan by securing the Doctor on a permanent deal, bringing back Mensing and another decent midfielder.

Good luck to whoever takes on the job.

nah, stewart should go easy, but i think hes seeing the light and thinks the english leagues a bit too much of a jump, i'd like to keep him for a while and bring in latapy, as i said in an article above he will have good trinidad contacts!
