Wales U21

International Wales
comment on the article

Well done Wales U21 on another fantastic result against the French tonight. To not only win but to comeback from 2-1 down and win 4-2 shows a lot of courage and determination. At least one team related to Wales is doing well. Makes the future looks bright :)

Well done to Wales on a great performance, thought it was a great game.
Also great to see our young star Joe Jacobson play and captain the side. Hoping hes one for the future.

Wales look alright for full backs for the next 15 years...Gunter and Eardley on the right and Bale and Jacobson on the left.

To think when the U21's next play in February they could play Ledley, Bale, Cotterill, Eardley, Gunter, Nyatanga and a few others to strengthen even more. Frightening prospect yikes

--------------- Hennessey---

Eardley --- R Williams -- Nayatanga --- Gunter

Cotterill--- Ramsey -- Ledley --- Bale

---------Evans -------- Vokes

Thats not a bad until 21 team and if Im right I don't think any of that team are 21 yet. But it would be unfair to play these players considering how well the current team are playing. Although it would be handy to drop these players down for the two Romania games.

I've followed the 21s for a couple of years, always had the odd good player but not a crop like this.It does look good for the future...goes someway to justifying John Ts policy with the seniors.
well done lads....but the Bales,Ledleys etc do need to come in when we qualify ...and dont forget Wayne Hennessey!

A fantastic all round team performance. I rate the players already talked about and I would also like to throw Joe Allen of swansea in there.
I think we do have a team for the future and all the credit must go to Brian Flynn, a fine manager and a great servant to Wales. JT knows what he is doing and it's about time we got rid of whatever old wood remains in the senior squad and start bringing some of these youngsters in slowely over the next few years. If the seniors can finish 3rd in the group after tonight I think we stand a decent chance for the next world cup with these youngsters. Remember some of the guys that played last night are only 16 and 17 years old.

One of the best performances i've seen by a Welsh side in years!

I think come Brazil 2014, these boys will be world beaters... providing the FAW appoint a good manager at the time. Just hope they dont balls it up and employ another bobby gould!

Outstanding performance, the reaction to the 2 late goals said it all, those boys WANTED to win. I've been watching the U-21's with interest over the last few years. The quality has improved dramatically and they are playing good composed football, long may it continue.
