Based purely on paper speculation would you Deal or no Deal?

5* for Deal
1* for No Deal

Goes for Everton fans as well. Would you sell for £4MIL?

"Celtic will have to pay more than £4m if they want to sign striker James McFadden from Everton in January. (Daily Record)

James McFadden's agent says Celtic would have to pay £20,000 per week in wages for the Scotland star. (Daily Express)"

not as good as miller ? Kenny Miller ?laugh im not wrong Mcfadden almost got Scotland into the euros and it was Mllers somewhat inept movement from a Fadden move that cost Scotland. I think Kris Boyd is better than Miller- his record speaks for itself.

Aye he has flashes of genius, but that's all they are - just flashes. I think ability-wise he's in between the SPL and the Premiership, but I think he would be a great signing for Celtic, because he hasn't a) performed for Everton, or b) really had the chance to perform for Everton, since he left Motherwell. Ideally suited to the SPL

Good player, playing for (what is for him) the wrong team. Footballwise he made a wrong choice. He needs to be in a bigger and better team . His heart is dead at Everton. He's a Celtic man and I think he could do them many a bad turn if he goes to Rangers.
If money is all he's after then by all means stay at Everton but if he wants a chance at a successful career, a challenge , and some excitement in his football life (and decent money!erm)then he has to get out of there.

Perhaps McFadden wants to test himself at the upper echelons of club football in the Champions League.

With a club like Celtic, a Champions League regular and again this seasaon proving they are among Europes best 16 clubs, this would be a great stage for him.

I have a soft spot for Everton but I don't ever see them reaching this pinnacle of club football and would be best concentrating on finishing better than 5th in the Premiership.

From an Everton point of view, I think it makes perfect sense to sell McFadden if Celtic, or indeed, anyone is daft enough to offer £3.5-4 million.

Its obvious his chances will always be limited at Goodison as Moyes simply does not rate him anymore than a squad player, and McFadden obviously has ambitions to be more than that.

Also, a possible early sale in January will give the club time to find a new attacking midfielder, who will be more suited to the 4-1-4-1 system that Moyes likes to employ.

Let's not forget we still have the £10 million we were prepared to pay for Fernandes burning a hole in our back pockets??

McFadden with the right manager would be an asset to any team.Moyes has got that nippy Souness attitude.

I can't believe he's JUST 24!

He's been around for ages (like Gareth Barry)!
