imho Mike Phillips has to start and needs to be given a run as incumbent. Peel's form has dipped dramatically over the last year or so and poses very few real threats as compared to his 2005 form. We are in danger of Phillips becoming a second David Bishop, the better scrum half (at the moment anyway) but not in the national team.

I've picked Peel ahead of Philips because he is playing rugby week in and out and also think he will be better suited to SA style of play.

At the end of the day this is a one off 'show piece' event where there is no pressure on the coach to win, lose or draw! Let's give the current youngsters a chance to show what they can do against the world champions.

I think Byrne will probably start, difficult selection at full-back as i think Stoddart has been in great form!

Look for one thig it's a test match lik a friendly! I know it's a cup but who cares about the Price William Cup or whatever it's called I mean he's English and we're fighting for an English cup when we're Welsh?! And "Intl Wookie Hunter - Nadie puede joder conmigo" yes we always blame or take the mick ot of the English but the English do it to us aswell and like "BloodyMarvellous" said we blame our team alot more tan we do the English so please shh now! And that's another point why do we always have a go at the team and the coaching staff?! If they perform amazing one minute we kiss their asses but then one bad game we have a right go and tell the staff to get on their bikes! Why don't we all stick behind them and encourage them because then they wont be under as much pressure! I think it's best so stop criticising everyone I would like to see you do better! So why don't we let them do their jobs and sit back and enjoy our team playing and let Henson play because he's a decen player I mean we all said Stephen Jones was rubbish but when he came on as a sub against Canada and all of a sudden we had like 3 tries which he set up like two so let Henson play!

You must be mad to include Owen, Charvis and Dafydd James.Surely now is the time to develop new blood not to prolong the careers of past heroes. Sowden-Taylor deserves a chance.

I jus read someone say whats gavin henson done to get a recall.Jus to remind you we lost our last game to Fiji who no disprespect to them played great attacking rugby but we should not be losing to these teams.Henson has done well for the ospreys and is 100% fit. Also he's a young guy and will be around for a longtime yet.Looking forward see Tom James on the wing hope he gets his chance.I want see these younger players gettin their opportunities now and the older players who are not* essential to the team to be dropped.

i think that it is too early for stoddart although he has been immense for the scarlets but i think that some more of the youngsters should get a look in i.e(ashley smith) but also nicky robinson who is always in outstanding form for the blues. My team would have to be
15-Gavin Henson
14-Kevin Morgan
13-Sonny Parker
12-Tom Shanklin
11-Shane Williams
10-James Hook
9-Mike Phillips
1-Gethin Jenkins
2-Matthew Rees
3-Duncan Jones
4-Luke Charteris
5-Alun Wyn Jones
6-Colin Charvis
7-Richard Parks
8-Michael Owen
Subs Bench-
T R Thomas
A Jones
I Gough
A Popham
G Cooper
C Sweeney
M Jones

I think Hollsean has got it spot on with the 4 to 8 selection. Owen is too lumbering and weak for international level where as J. Thomas has that injection of pace which is essential if you want to go forward when carrying the ball into contact. Sowden Taylor should come on as a replacement for Charvis around the 60 minute mark.

8 - J Thomas
7 - C Charvis
6 - A W Jones
5 - I Gough
4 - I Evans

I have no idea what goes on in the front row but it looks painfull.

9 - Phillips
10 - Hook
12 - Henson

These guys are now training and playing at the same club so the obviously advantage of familiarity gets my vote. Plus Peel needs a good kick up the arse because he's been rubbish lately.

13 - Shanks - Class.

Shane Williams and Mark Jones on the wing.

Undecided about 15. Byrne is normally poor at international level and Keving Morgan's a china tea pot. I think blooding Stoddart against the current world champions, who are going to want to play some expansive rugby, especially after such a tactical final, is a bad idea.

Lets work on some youngsters and give them some experience against the world chanpions. Henson deserves a chance after all stephen jones had plenty
